The Inn was my choice to stay as the 2nd part of our Welsh holiday week. ..and what a great choice. From the moment we met the staff to check in to the moment we left the staff were great, friendly, polite and nothing was too much and they had a calm ease in their manner. Gem was great as a waitress and barmaid. The food was amazing and the service, presentation and cooking of every dish was expertly managed. The specials changed daily, but the basic menu had the classics. No wonder they are constant award winners in fact they had won another award whilst we were staying. The small front beer garden was regularly packed with sun worshipping drinkers. The studio room was large, clean and fully functional. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here.

Lovely place but we walked in slightly after 2.30 to be immediately told there was no food being served. We didn't even ask! We were told then it was okay to sit in the garden with our drinks and the door was locked behind us. How very welcoming. Won't be going back there!

We came here twice on our recent visit to Pembroke. On both occasions the service and quality of their food was superb. Good choice on the menu with a varied daily specials. My burger was one of the best I have had. The cod and chips delicious. My husband had the goulash which was delicious. Good beer and nice wine cellar. Really enjoyed both of our visits and we all chose it as our favourite over the week away. Well done Stackpole Inn.

Loved this place so much! Lovely ambience and the outside of the pub is so relaxing with the birds chirping and greenery. A little oasis. They were very accommodating even when our booking didn’t go through properly. Food was super flavorful and staff were very attentive and humorous. Loved the energy there.

Visited here twice during our week spent nearby. Once for an amazing Sunday roast and then for a mid week lunch. We all found the staff very friendly and helpful. It has a small carpark, but it is easy to park in the road if full.

Great place! We arrived thinking we’d booked for us and a dog online, however we’d misunderstood that the dog area was fully booked. They were really accommodating, we had a brilliant, quick Sunday roast before the reservation arrived then sat at the bar to enjoy some drinks. All the staff were lovely and it’s one of the best roasts we’ve had (pork & veggie)Will come again for the weekday menu!

Super friendly staff, good menu. We had filled rustic rolls with chips and salad. Beautiful sourdough rolls and chips boat shaped which were delightfully crispy. £9. Very enjoyable.

·

Lovely staff, small menu concentrating on local priduce. Cooking of meats and fish good, but sauces need revision. Peppercorn sauce tasted medicinal and unpleasant, vermouth sauce too sweet, star anise sauce to go with pork, OK. Sauce makes a dish, and these sauces just didn't do the dishes justice. Pudding was good, and cheese board excellent. Would come back again

The Stackpole Inn remains one of our very favourite places to stay and eat. The setting is superb. The rooms are clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds. The food is absolutely first class. With fresh, locally sourced, ingredients and imaginative cooking. They are particularly good at accommodating dietary issues, whilst still ensuring meals are tasty and wholesome. There is always a good selection of well kept guest ales and decent wine list. With all of this very competitively priced.

Went for lunch here 3 weeks ago. I had steak & chips. My wife had Scallops.Meat was well cooked, chips good. Would have been a 5/5 but my chips were half scrapings. Sauces were amazing, drinks were good. Lunch cost £60 with drinks and was very good value.
