The Stone Crab in Pembrokeshire

Here on holiday and discovered the Stone Crab. The lunchtime platter was a great price, absolutely beautiful scallops. My only complaint is I couldn’t get a table for dinner. Do yourself a favour - book in advance!

We had the most amazing meal on Friday evening, the staff were fantastic, so warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, our table wasn't quite ready so we sat at the bar and the girl behind the bar (I believe to be owners daughter) was so chatty and helpful, and really made us feel comfortable while waiting to be seated, and the lady who served us was great, nothing seemed too much trouble. The food is outstanding!! We had the sharing platter Bass and cod Kiev and all were fantastic! Fully recommend.We ended up getting engaged after this meal 💍 so it will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we will be back!I wanted to say a huge thank you to The Stone Crab - my parents dined the evening after and when they mentioned we had gone on to that engaged, walking home from our meal, the staff ever so kindly gifted my parents a bottle of champagne and asked if they could pass it in to us with their congratulations. We thought this was so kind and thoughtful and it just shows how much they care about their customers - I can see why this place gets booked up so far in advance.If you come to Saundersfoot, I highly recommend that you try this beautiful restaurant, you won't be dissapointed by the food or service!Thanks againJemma & Dylan

It’s just great!!Cozy atmosphere, fab food, great wines - what more to say!Seafood curry was super tasty and filling.Rose Pinot Gris (French) was so good we had 2 bottles!Lots of variety on the menu and everyone we saw were thoroughly enjoying their choices.

Fantastic fresh seafood, small, definitely book ahead because always fully booked when I've been. Right next to the harbour. Friendly staff. Cheaper than I was expecting 👍

What to say! What an amazing restaurant! Lily and her team are just incredible. The restaurant is so cozy and staff were just incredible. We pre ordered the main seafood platter and got surprised by complimentary oysters. The platter was just out of this world! Amazing selection of beautifully cooked fish which was plenty for 2. Highly recommended and we will definitely be booking in again. Make sure you ring and get booked speedily as there is a waiting list and not to be missed!

Some of the best seafood I've had in the UK. Well worth driving to from wherever you are, get the sharing platter for a good taste of everything they offer. The scallops are incredible, the mussels, incredible, the mackerel pate is delightful, the prawns... I could go on about every element at length! Just drop in for a visit, you won't regret it.

What an amazing restaurant, the food is exceptionally flavoursome and cooked with care and diligence. The portion sizes will satisfy the most enthusiastic of eaters, the catch is caught locally and you know it’s fresh!The atmosphere, oh you’ll be in for a treat! So warm and welcoming, cosy and sublime. The staff are second to none (seriously 6 Stars). Rarely have we been treated in such an honest, kind, caring and attentive manner in a restaurant. They’re good! The foods great! If you’re looking for a wonderful Welsh culinary experience you’re in the right place, eating the right food, with the right people! Simply superb!
