Very delicious Sunday lunch. Lovely staff who could not have been more attentive. Beautiful view across the water and of the castle on a sunny day topped everything off.

Called last minute for Sunday lunch and they squeezed us in. Staff were amazing and very accommodating. Would highly recommend the Sunday lunch. Nice little pub on the water front. Will definitely call in again

Really fabulous food. Cod and chips, chicken burgers and cheeseburger on our order, and all were great portions and very tasty. Friendly welcome, dog-friendly in the bar.

·

Nice pub with outdoor seating area overlooking the river, good choice of beers, lagers and spirits. Delicious food at very reasonable prices and good portions, dog friendly in front bar and outside.

Was visiting Pembroke from Leicester. Asked a local chap on the street which pub had the best food, and he said The Watermans - he wasn't wrong!!Initially I thought we were waiting rather a long time, buy I needn't have worried. It was a combination of a large birthday party group, and the fact that my meal was prepared, baked etc completely from scratch and not just"pinged"!!It was delicious and a healthy portion for my big appetite. (Aubergine parmigiana with garlic potatoes done in cream!)Excellent food and service. Give it a try!Arthur from Leicester.

We were welcome at 2.55 pm when they were closing the kitchen at 3 pm. This did not seem to be too much trouble, service was very friendly and the food very tasty. It was clear that all was homemade and cooked with care. It was very nice view too on the castle, perfect stop after the visit. Thank you 😊

Had lunch today with my family, service was great, food the same. Really enjoyable pub grub, my wife had fish while I had possibly the best gammon steak ever. Nothing pretentious just good solid comfort food.Would recommend.

Good food, friendly staff, super views.

Top little pub over the water...great view of the castle..lovely Landlady. Would of loved to get there before 3pm, just missed out on lunch😩 so made up for it with a couple of pints instead😎👍👍

Location is great looking over the water and castle but the food was really poor and very expensive. The wait for food, over an hour, wouldn’t have been so bad if it was nice!Would recommend for drinks but skip the food.
