Passing by on route to our campsite and decided to turn around and drop in to stock up on beer. Very friendly and staff. Lovely beer. We only had a quick snack consisting of chips before hitting the road so can’t comment on the menu.

Highly recommended. Never been to a N and before where you do not have personal interaction with the owner but it works. Great rooms, top location and next to a microbrewery/pub/restaurant. Already planning on returning next year.

I was disappointed in my visit to the Victoria Inn. We were recommended to eat here and as such, booked sometime in advance. When booking we’re told that on a Sunday it was only a roast and the last service was 6:30pm.We booked for 6:30pm and, after a long day travelling was very much looking forward to a roast. When we arrived we were told it was outdoor seating only and that “luckily your table is in the dry” (it was a wet & cold autumn evening, it has been raining most of the day and the pub has a large sail over outdoor bench’s) and that they “didn’t serve roasts”.The change in menu and outdoor seating wouldn’t have been a problem if we had been told in advance. I understand things are difficult at the moment but some warning or even an apology for the miscommunication would have been nice. I also have a slight concern about what would have happened if our bench had been rained on.The outdoor area is nicely set-up but there is one small heater which most guests were huddled around. It would be better suited for a summer evening.Despite this the food was nice, it was good pub food, however it was overpriced for what it was. The quality of the food is the only reason this is a 3 star review, otherwise it would have been lower.Food service was quick, I’ve never been served food before drinks before, although we were very much left to it.Overall a little disappointing.

We arrived here on the recommendation of others but found it severely lacking. We booked a table as reviews suggested it would be busy but it was quite quiet at 1700. I was very disappointed with the menu which consisted of the usual fare that would suit an elderly bus party with nothing special or even interesting. Having booked we felt it would be rude to leave so we ordered, hoping the short menu would be perfect. What we received was Wetherspoons fare, over "warmed" burger bun and microwave rice included. To say this meal was mediocre is to be complimentary, don't waste your money.

Loved it - the staff are all lovely, service is so good, food excellent and great vfm. Curry with half and half 👌 the beer brewed on the premises - W.O.W - was highly regarded by Matthew. Also - lovely views from the garden.

Lovely b&b, room was perfect with a great view. The shower was particularly good, and much appreciated after a long day walking the coastal path. Breakfast caddy had plenty of choice, though the savoury muffins were a little bit surprising! We would definitely recommend and will stay again if we're in the area.

We go The Vic regularly. Fantastic service and by far the best chips ever. Speedy service with great quality food. Today, I had the halloumi burger and it was outstanding. The Vic is the best pub around.Thank you and see you soon.

I stayed in a holiday let nearby this week. Unfortunately I didn’t sample the food but on a few occasions I took in some empty and clean 2 and 4 pint milk containers which they were more than happy to fill up for me with beer to takeaway home. They have a brewery in the premises and make several (5 were on this week) delicious beers ranging from blondes, bitters, a very good porter (pictured) and a 5.6% American style IPA. So, very good beer, and very friendly service
