We were so bitterly disappointed on our visit recently. The last time we went was about 5 years ago and the food was first class. This time half the menu was unavailable and quite frankly it was like eating cafe food at restaurant prices!!There was one waitress on that evening and she did a great job, but was taking all the flack for the waiting time, lack of choice and the quality of the food provided. We won't be going there again.

Visited this evening. Really disappointed as heard good reviews. Was warned there could be slight delay due to party of 12. Food took forever. My main course was the same as my sons starter apart from bit more salad, served to me in a dish you'd expect a starter in. My dessert arrived luke warm, very stodgy. Bethan the waitress was great, however she was responsible for waiting on the whole room in addition to serving the drinks. A real dissappointment.

Expensive.Limited menu items, limited drinks options when we visited but wasn't informed when we phoned to book an hour previous to arriving.Like as if they are running it empty to shut or something 🤷

Restaurant near the beautiful town of Tenby, the area where the restaurant is located is very quiet and pleasant to enjoy a good sunny day(perfect with kids too). The food is a very good quality but perhaps a little more expensive than normal for the area.In my personal experience everything would have been perfect but it was not. We ordered the food and drinks, ten minutes later the drinks arrived but we did not know anything about the food for a long period (about an hour), we asked the staff and they told us that there was a celiac and they have been cleaning the kitchen but we would have our food shortly, it happened another hour and the food was not there, finally after asking again they brought us the food and to try to compensate for the mistake, they invited us to one drink per person. At the end of the day, I can't give more than two stars if you wait two hours for food in a restauran hope that they adapt the restaurant and staff for this type of situation if it is possible and if it is not, then at least inform the clients before ordering the food.

Pre booked a table. Still had to wait 2 hours for the meal to come out.Food came out incorrect e.g no egg on gammon Kitchen sent out an extra main that was not ordered and staff continued to question whether we had ordered this. When I explained that there were 8 of us at a table and 9 mains have come out that this was clearly their mistake.Had to ask for the bill 3 times and and then the bill was also incorrect with the extra unordered meals still being accounted for.All in all 3 hours for a bog standard pasta and shoddy service.

Fabulous views, restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely meal on terrace but would have benefited from heaters/blankets as it was chilly.

This is the standard of excellence.Crème de la crème! Every meal we had was well prepared. The staff are amazing.

Not worth going for dinner/food. May be nice on a sunny day for a drink on the patio to enjoy the view (and to get away from the sound of the microwave in the kitchen). Such a shame as it’s a lovely location with beautiful views and the staff were friendly - this place could be SO much better. The whole place could do with an update - the menu and food was poor, the decor is dated and there is a cold atmosphere and feel to the restaurant/cafe. When we visited there was a 4.4* google review which I would say isn’t very accurate.

We've eaten at Waves several times as a family now and always book again whenever we are in the area. Their Sunday roast dinners are very good and they are very adaptable to your requirements which is great for me as I gluten and dairy intolerant. We will definitely return the next time we are on holiday in Tenby.
