Fab pub ,great food a d friendly staff, will definitely be going back

Called in with group of 5 for a quick drink on a Saturday night for a quick drink before going on elsewhere for food. Young lady behind bar served drinks quickly and with a friendly demeanor. Two of us called back at about 10.15pm and was met with another member of staff, perhaps the owner, distinctly frosty service couldnt wait to lock up! We just had 2 pints for £8 and left.

Lovely little pub, dog friendly too.We ordered takeaway food from the menu one evening. I had fish and chips and I can say it was the best I've ever had from a pub.Nice relaxed atmosphere and the prices are very good. Staff lovely too

Food was absolutely delicious! What was a quick lunch plan turned out to be a feast! Kudos to the chef. Our tummies were happy and our soul's filled!

Food was cooked perfectly, lovely big juicy steaks. House rosè wine very nice. Great pub, slightly quirky, my kinda place

Lovely food, and I'm not just saying that. It truly is lovely. I ate here tonight and had beef lasagne served with chips, salad and coleslaw. Dog friendly and very cosy. Will be back for sure

Fabulous value roast Sunday lunch. Some new beers for me too, but both were a little bland. Not the pub's fault, but would have a red wine next time. Well worth a visit.

Had an evening meal there. Menu caters for gluten free and staff were happy to discuss this and answer my sister's questions. I had a steak and it was beautifully cooked and had so much flavour. Nice pub, nice welcoming staff.

Weren't made welcome at all arrived 8.10pm on Friday evening ordered a beer and enquired about food told stop serving at 8pm when I asked if there was anywhere nearby we could eat was given a shrug of the shoulders and no reply. Downed my pint and walked out the 6 people in there totally ignored us. Lucky for us we drove 40 yards and found the 3 horseshoes where we enjoyed a warm welcome and excellent food
