Stopped off here for a meal on our way to Donegal. Great atmosphere & good food. Cosh Bar is on the Irish Republic border a short drive from Letterkenny. Recommended.

Was in for Sunday lunch yesterday..food was lovely..was disappointed that there was no roast beef left by 3pm, which I think people should be told what's sold out before getting seated..the first girl.that took the order must have been hungover as she was in a different world and didn't ask what sauce we wanted..the other two girls where lovely and upbeat, even thought I had to send my chicken escalope back as it was over cooked that much the knife wouldn't cut it..it was replaced within minutes..

Was there last night with my nieces and nephew food was lovely can’t complain about that but what I was disappointed in was the lack of face mask. When I arrived I gave mg name and asked did he want to see my COVID passport and he was not interested in it at a all . The places was very busy and not one person was wearing a mask only me and I’m very disappointed in this and for that reason I will not be back

Excellent food, good choice, price and always tasty. Would love to give 5 stars but service is slow, perhaps kitchen is understaffed. Would prefer the quality to remain as good but just a little quicker on the service. Waitresses helpful when necessary but a little disinterested. Asked on numerous occasions for children's food to be sent out directly but they never followed through. Would recommend for food though

The Cosh Bar and Grill is basically on the border of Counties Derry and Donegal, on the main Derry to Letterkenny or Burncrana roads. Decorated in the style of a traditional Irish pub, it serves a hot food menu which, though having many options, has predominantly spicy flavoured dishes, which will not suit everyone. It can be a busy, lively bar with TV screens visible in almost any seating position and sport, particularly soccer, features strongly. There is also a quieter snug. The food at The Cosh is usually good as is the service and value for money. On our visit, Covid measures were NOT well enforced and only one staff member wore a mask with some wearing masks under their chin. No hand sanitizer on tables either.
