Donaghy's Real Fish in Derry

We bought 2 fish and chips there on Friday, the fish was very nice but not the batter, that was not cooked through so soggy . The chips were horrible dark brown ,watery and not crispy I would think made with poor potatoes the peas were cold as if they forgot to heat them. I rang them the next day and he said we should have brought them back. The night we bought them was very windy and wet and we should not be expected to go there twice when it wasn't our fault. He added that he gets calls like this all the time and I thought that speaks for itself.In saying all this we have bought food there several times before and it was good.

Live 30 seconds away I'm disabled takes 1hour 2deliver told me had been sent 4 delivery 5 mins ago obviously a lie 🙄 so I promptly cancelled. Not weekend!!Tuesday night no excuse sorry.

A new and traditional fish and chips shop with a good selection of food that is reasonably priced. Locally sourced.

Got fish chip from this place opened box and nearly swallowed my tongue with size fish which was best I have had long time worth coming from omagh to get it

We only went here as the chicken shop along the street was closed. We ordered the Big D Burger, a Belfast pastie, two battered sausages and a small chip. The burger was great and the chips were only okay but having asked for salt and vinegar, it certainly seemed it was being rationed. The battered sausages and the pastie were poor as they were both very greasy. As I said, the chicken shop was closed and it seemed this chip shop was getting the overspill and therefore busier than I would imagine it normally is and maybe busier than they expected but it felt like they were under a bit of pressure and trying to rush without success. Overall the food was middle of the road and it certainly wasn't the worst. I think I'd go again to see if they can get better.

The chips tonight from three different meals we received were simply awful. A mixture of grey, almost black some of them were as well and completely soggy. I don't know what type of potatoes or oil that was used or who cooked those disgusting so call chips but you'd seriously need to get your act together Donaghey's. Totally inedible.

Safe is a joke waited 2 hours on food and still wasn't ready maybe if staff spent less time talking to each other and more cooking food and getting it out be ready faster never be back again

Ordered on My Food Delivery.Order was accepted straight awayAnd 1 hour 50 minutes later a cold take out arrived with grease seeping through the bag,This place used to be really fast delivery and spot on, WHAT HAPPENED PEOPLE, this is the second time this has happened.won't be ordering again, far from an enjoyable experience.

Waited for 90 minutes. Received only half the order food was cold. Never again. Have been a regular customer. But standards are slipping.
