Good pub grub and a few drinks before heading home from the walk we done at stairway to heaven we were told about this we place good service and the food was very good apart from the locals were a bit loud but still friendly

Grim at lunchtime! Place smelled of urine, toilet doors were propped open, we moved to sit near the front door... their COVID menu is very limited which would have been fine if it had been properly cooked.

Had a wonderful night in Jack's bar after doing the 'Stairway to Heaven Walk'. Paul Jack his and his customers alike were very friendly and welcoming. Great service,. food and company. Highly recommend the bar if staying in the Custom House Inn.
