Angler's Rest in Limavady

Was just passing by with friends & called in the off-chance they could accommodate us.This was no problem & the food & drinks orders quickly followed. All the food was excellent & the Guinness was the best I have ever had.Would actually plan a day trip to the North Coast around calling here again for food....

Had the carvery, no restriction on meats etc . Excellent attentive staff, will certainly be back. Would certainly recommend if you are in the area

Came here to get some fresh native Oysters as the pictures on here suggest, only to find out that they "dont do that anymore", well ok thats fine.Ordered some small Food that was good.Water served was tap, so it tasted like chlorine. Nope!The Mojito was served in a glass that reminded me of a shotglass and if that wasn't enough it tasted like water with a hint of mint and wodka. No lime. No Sugar.

Childrens menu for 5 year old ordered. Brought adult meal by mistake and then just took some off it and served as child. Too spicy. Adult food good

Had Scampi, was clearly sitting a long time so was chewy and not very pleasant. Arrived at 8.45 so last orders may have been to blame, however, if it isn't fit to serve, don't serve it. Disappointed, but will try again as the staff are pleasant and the ambience is good. One last chance Anglers!

I ordered the pasta , it was not nice at all , no taste of the crispy sage , and just over powered by onion I seen no ricotta at all ,the burger was good and the soup was lovely, child's fish n chip was pittyful tbh and the fish itself was absolutely soaked in oil ,I'm surprised as being in this location you would imagine no place could go wrong with the fish and batter . At least we tried it .

Passing through the area whilst on holiday and I’m upset this isn’t my local back home. This is outstanding place - food was immense; had the most friendly atmosphere of any pub I’ve been in; Callum on the bar was excellent; Guinness was delicious; even had a friendly chat with the chef after the meal. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Had a lovely meal and drinks in here recently whilst staying at the Benone Getaways glamping pods. They have a great menu, staff and warm atmosphere

Lovely little pub and restaurant. Was very busy, and didn't have a table when we turned up with no reservation. Not to worry - they found us one outside under a shelter. Family really enjoyed it, and the dog was happy too. Food was delicious, very quick service, friendly staff. Excellent pint of Guinness as well. Would definitely recommend.

A nice lady at the weekend market recommended us this restaurant and we pop by to check it out. It was absolutely worth it. The steak was great and the fish and scampi was yummy too. The fried onions on top of the steak was super crispy and goes well with my steak. Despite i ordered well done, it was very tender. Had a real nice guinness to go with it. Very hearty meal and We had a great time there. Service was very good too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cosy resturant and has an area with pool table and arcade games. Things were clean too. We even packed away some wings for snack. Will definitely go back if i ever visit North Ireland again. This time i will leave some room for desserts.
