Excellent place to go to for a coffee.

Love Lucilles Kitchen. All the home cooking and baking makes this place fantastic. I always overeat. Her soup is to die for. Genuine Home cooking...Its hard to beat.

Menu available on top of counter but products displayed not named properly but staff helpful when finally arrived to serve but not sure prices as didnt see displayed so go well prepared money wise. Cramped if seats full of customers - leave your prams & wheelchairs outside. Id ate desert before tea even arrived as took 10/15min or they forgot. When paying girl swiped contactless card without asking if i preferred keypad which i do (even Tesco ask 1st which preferred method) Id never activated contactless so id know when or if card details stolen - bang goes that. Took 20/25mins before food arrived. Door left open or a draft somehere as freezen inside on a cold wet day outside.There is upstairs seating but couldnt carry a tray an bags up and not sure if staff offer. On plus side & yes there was one - the food is excellent, portions fine and yes pricing average. I dont blame staff, its whoever is managing staff that needs to address issues & attitudes.

Absolutely fab! There is a good choice of the home cooked dinners and the choice of desserts is too too good, cos never know what to choose. My favourite is the home made apple sponge with fresh whipped cream mmm!Highly recommend, staff are polite and very helpful, they never seem to rush the customer- especially one like me who can't decide what to have!!!!

Called in for a cup of tea and a scone with my mum and sister. A lovely wee cafe with friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon the next time I'm in Limavady

Went to Lucilles for the Sunday Cavery 2nd October..price= £7.50 x 3I got the Cavery in there before, but promised myself if I ever got cuts of meat like it again id say something...well I went back, and sure enough I approached the counter and placed my order, I looked and saw George hacking away at the end of the turkey joint and the end of roast beef joint for me...my stomach churned with anger...he actually gave me the end knob of the turkey. I said "why is it I seem to get the ends of the meat joints when I'm in here" and pointed to someone else's dinner and asked "why cant it be like that one"? the cuts were round and appealing looking...George said in a gruff tone "Do you want THAT dinner"? he made me fell embarrassed for complaining...and almost ungrateful. I said "No, it doesn't matter"George stated "What do you want for £7.50"!!?I felt utter humiliation, shame and slightly greedy for pointing out their measly portion meant for me. I would have walked out there and then, but the rage slowly took over and paralysed my responses and actions. I walked out like I was given something free and acted so ungrateful!...I will never be back...and I will be very persuasive in getting my family and friends not go there...iv a big family...we will give our trade to others that perhaps deserve it

this is one of those cafe's that the locals know about. the prices are very reasonable, the service is friendly. the food is excellant! i didn't know this place existed untill we were hungry one day and were walking down the street, seen the signs and followed them to this cafe. i will definately be back next time i'm in limavady. well worth finding!
