Overall, I’d say this place was average.Service was good, staff were helpful throughout. However it took over half an hour for drinks to arrive between sitting down and delivery.I ordered the chicken pasta: (very) bland. The strangest thing in this restaurant was the vegetarian / vegan menu - this was a completely separate menu which you had to ask for (not offered unless requested). This menu itself had a good choice - but nowadays having a whole separate menu for vegetations / menus is overkill and I think the restaurant is missing a trick here. Why not include these dishes in the standard menu?Overall - quite disappointing. The prices are also on the high side compared to other restaurants in the local area which I don’t think is warranted.

Was out for a day trip with the family. Came across this place on Google maps. First class service. Staff allowed us to sit outside. They had no problem with myself and my daughter sitting inside at another table due to wasps pestering us outside. Food was delicious and washed down with a lovely pint of Guinness. I went for the Roe burger with mash.. which was superb. Also the apple pie was perfect too. I thought the bill may be expensive, but in fairness it was very reasonable for four of us. It was a perfect end to a lovely family day out.

Poor food and service. The T Bone steak was just ok and while the Chicken Caesar Salad was tasty, the portion size that came out as a main course was the size of a starter. The panna cotta was like something you would buy from the fridge section at a petrol station and the Irish Coffee tasted like water topped with cream. Our experience was extremely disappointing and in an effort not to be harsh, maybe the poor quality and customer care was due to a late dining slot. Here's hoping!

Excellent lunch and dinner I order baguette and soup for lunch and the curry for dinner and both were amazing

Been twice this week. Service amazing. Atmosphere warm and cozy. Cock and bull was delicious! Starter for 2 is huge! Bang bang chicken tasted a little powdery, everything else was spot on. Still 5 stars overall experience.
