Waves Coffee Shop & Bistro in Limavady

Clean and tidy, plenty of staff, reasonably priced, latte coffee and chai coffee brought to the table quite promptly but fairly cold on arrival, great bun home made but the nearly cold coffee was a bit of a let down....pity...

Always a good experience when dining here, a consistently pleasant and enjoyable place for a bite to eat.

Really nice presentation for the dishes we got. The only real vegan option was a vegan sausage roll, but the employee we spoke to was very knowledgeable and we were able to put together some lovely toasted sourdough with avocado, tomatoes and chili and garlic rapeseed oil. Great atmosphere and decorations inside the cafe.

May I take this opportunity to comment on our recent visit to Waves, weather was terrible but the mood changed as I was greeted by the warmth of a roaring log fire , friendly accommodating staff and fantastically clean comfortable seating.My wife and I both ordered eggs Benedict and some beverages and took a comfortable seat by the fire and within minutes we were served our breakfast and wow what a treat, food absolutely amazing, The whole experience of relaxing in a family run bistro was a delight and an experience we will return with family and friends over and over again.May we congratulate the owners and their family for a wonder facility on the North coast .SJ

Incidental Find!The only working North Coast EV charger that we could find last night, was at Benone.Off we went to charge the car! Thought while this was happening that we would look for food. Came across WAVES and it’s friendly helpful staff. We enjoyed delicious fresh food with brilliant service and a friendly smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Such a lovely chilled atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Thank you guys👌

First time in today and popped in for 2 lattes and a hot chocolate. Was asked if it was takeaway or sit in, said we had 2 dogs outside so takeaway but was told we were welcome to bring the dogs in. So will definitely think about sittng in next time. The lad and girl that behind the counter serving where very friendly and gave me some good knowledge. Couldn't have asked for better service so credit to them. Shall be back again soon with our dogs to have breakfast or lunch. The lattes and hot chocolate were lovely. Thanks again

My friend and I called into the Waves restaurant this morning shortly after 9:30 for our breakfast. When we approached the desk we were asked if we had booked a table but we hadn't booked as we never had to before. A very kind staff member said they had lots of bookings today but the fantastic staff at Waves went out of their way and accommodated us and as usual we had the avocado breakfast which was superb. Brilliant place to eat and would recommend this very nice restaurant to anyone and with a lovely walk at nearby Benone beach after breakfast how could you not call in to the Wonderful Waves restaurant. Keep up the great work Waves Team and hope you all a very well earned Xmas break. Take care and stay safe

A superb hidden gem at the Benone beach complex.Don’t know why we never found this place before, but will certainly be back again.The location is great with plenty of parking in the main complex car park, a nice indoor seating area with fresh decor and a well laid out outdoor area, both of which have lovely views of the nearby hills.Less than 5 mins walk to Benone beach, you can smell the salt in the air if the waves and wind are right (as they were today).Had a superb toastie and a sharing bowl of loaded fires, not to mention the cheeky and very large slice of rainbow cake.Well well worth a visit and good value.Big thumbs up. We will be back.

Excellent coffee, food superb, the breakfast is fab, staff polite, professional and knowledgeable, it's definitely worth a visit, don't pass it, call in even if its just for coffee, you won't be disappointed.Have just been to waves this evening and had the best tasting burger for years (the wave burger) I dare anyone not to like it, the chips were also outstanding, can't rave enough about this place, excellent, thanks guys, impeccable staff as always, 5 stars again! 👏
