Golden Palace in Strabane

Went here tonight for food. It was laughable how terrible it was. Came into the restaurant with pumping music on had to find the waitress to tell us where to sit. Then when she came out with our starters they came in TAKE AWAY BOXES! We littarly had to ask for plates for our starters (which were terrible) my plate was still wet from where they must of just rinsed it and still had curry stains on it!Didn't even get plates for out mains and the batter on my chicken wasn't even cooked right. Absolutely shocking how the place is still running is beyond me.

Worst place I've ever been in. Takeaway fold-up menus on tables Food served in takeaway trays, soft drinks in cans. No mayonnaise available. A bad joke. Cutlery consisted of fork and spoon wrapped in napkin. Blaring music. Insisted on getting plates - by the time the cold plates arrived the food was cold. The food was tough, tasteless and inedible. This place will not be beaten for "worst restaurant in the North West". John P.S. I had to give it 1 star otherwise it would not let me post🤣

Called at 16:36 ordered a chicken ball special and a chicken ball special with no chips as my friend can't eat chips. Order arrived after numerous phone calls at least 3 I got put on hold only to be hung up on. We used my friends phone to call again and finally got answered to be told they would be as quick as possible. Food finally arrived at 18:51 with no rice in any of the specials at all. Ridiculous.

Absolutely shocking ordered my good at 6.30 told it would be here after 7... phone twice on the last call I was told no food do you want to cancel...By this stage it was 8.30,,,,, On the first call I should have been told that they could not deliver. When I ask for my refund I was told Monday...... Do Not order from this place.... Their attitude is an absolute disgrace

Waited 2 hours for food delivery after getting told it would be 40 mins. Ended up cancelling order after getting bad attitude over the phone. Not the first time it's happened. First time was an order phoned in to be collected. Another 2 hour wait

Ordered from here twice in the last two weeks great food and the girl’s Kirstin and Andrea are very friendly and prompt it’s a pleasure going there when there working nothings a bother to them

Ordered from app and was given a time to pick up food, waited an extra hour and had to ask for refund as food still wasn't ready. Wont be going back

Ordered the food told 20 mins after over a hour still had to wait and food was salty would never go again

Given a time to collect. Not ready twice. Awful service. Cancelled. Won't accept no stars. So have to give one.

An absolute disaster of a place. Waited over 2 hours for a Valentines Night takeaway, the place was in chaos..countless people walking out, asking for money back, orders getting cancelled over the phone, taxi men being told they weren't needed to deliver. One family who stormed out had children who were crying with hunger. Hardly any food coming out but a lot of noise in the kitchen. Apparently the head chef sacked a lot of staff the previous night and decided it was a good thing to open again. This place needs closed down permanently, it will be reported to the Strabane Chamber of Commerce also. Lucky that chef didn't stick his head out to front of house as there were quite a few angry people looking for him, me included. Even the one girl who he'd called in last minute to run the counter was embarassed. He supposedly cooks the biggest orders first and leaves everyone else waiting, should not be allowed anywhere near a business ever again.
