Gave this place a try from good reviews from friends....wasn't disappointed food and service absolutely spot on, it's bring your own booze as its not licensed but this keeps the meal prices very reasonable...can't fault the place👍🏻

I have been here a few times over time for a meal. Absolutely wonderful food and the staff were welcoming. I'd definitely recommend anyone to go. The staff take so much pride in their cooking. Lovely atmosphere too.

Never again! Ordered for collection but not £24 worth of food received (and that was with a £3 discount!). The pickle tray was £3 alone which is daylight robbery when you see how much there was in each pot (see photo - I measured out one of the ‘full’ pots and there was just under 3 teaspoons). I would have expected more than that when you’ve paid so much for a bit of sauce and onions. Maybe they would have put more pickle tray in if we’d ordered more poppadams but if that is the case then they need to include pickle tray within the poppadam price and not charge separately. If I’m paying for a pickle tray separately, it shouldn’t matter how many poppadams I’ve ordered as it’s a separate item. Annoying, but we powered through to the mains but it was all clot cold and had to microwave it for 3 minutes to get it to an eatable heat (we only live round the corner from the restaurant and collected as soon as it said it was ready!). The korma was runny and didn’t taste like a korma, there was no coconut or sweet/creamy flavour. The bhuna was just a pot of grease, it was all floating in oil. Again, for the price I would have expected a lot more food. We ordered 2 curries, 1 naan, 1 rice, 2 poppadams and a pickle tray… As for portions of curry again not nearly as much as you expect given the cost. The whole thing felt like it had been thrown together without any care (or heating, which makes me question if it was even fresh) and was overall just really disappointing when it wasn’t cheap. I’ve been a few times before and maybe they were having a bad day but we won’t be going back as this was ridiculous. Spend your money somewhere else.

Food is really nice but the service is awful. Booked a table for 7.30pm and arrived five minutes early. We were then told (after standing in the doorway) that they were running late. No apology, just expected to wait. After 15minutes of waiting we were told we would be waiting a further 20mins. 30mins later we were shown to our table and eventually had our meal. The meal itself was beautiful and have no complaints whatsoever. Unfortunately, when you run a restaurant, you must treat your customers with courtesy and kindness not short temperedness and arrogance. When asking a question, you dont challenge your customers do you?We understand that you were busy but that is down to your own mismanagement not ours. No apology for us having to wait 45mins before sitting at our table, rushed meal and literally shoved out of the door as you were closing. Sort yourselves out Cardamon, your food is great but your service is shocking!

Not bad. Curry was quite oily and lacked flavour . Arrived on time. Starters and pickle tray lovely. Not worth the price I paid though.

The food was lovely, service was perfect . The only reason for 4 stars is this place only accepts cash. Not great with the current pandemic. I would return though.

Great curry, busy atmosphere, clean & modern and great value for money.Came for a curry here with a friend. Was easy to book a table on the saturday for a table of two. On arrival it was very busy and it was quite loud which made it hard to hear each other at times.Due to business it took a bit of time for our order to be taken but after around 15 minutes this was done. It is one of those Indian Restaurants where you bring your own alcohol and I didn't know this in advanced. When ordering food we need to ask them if they could provide drinks which they could - soft drinks only. I'd have liked to have been asked if we would have liked a drink and think this should be common practice in any restaurant. Customer service was fine but I wouldn't go further than that, I imagine the staff were busy and overworked but would have been nice to have had an upbeat service with a smile approach.Poppadoms took around 10 mins to come out and then about 15 mins after they were collected the starters came out. I had the stuffed pepper which wasn't flavourful enough for my pallet - would have liked it a bit spicier but it was nice and really well presented. The curry was absolutely amazing and really flavourful. My friend said it was the best Jalfrezi he had had in his life and my vindaloo was really good too.For me I would come again but maybe on a week day when less busy as I like to be able to talk at the table and we found it really difficult on the Saturday night. For 5 stars I'd say the customer service just needs to be that little bit better.Recommend a visit here.
