Chicken Stop in Barnsley

Order regularly. Good quality food. By far best takeaway in area.

Absolutely shocking ordered a wrap and it’s looked like dogs dinner, what a terrible place never ever getting owt from here again!

Kids pizza was barely warm. Cheese wasn't melted. Lettuce on the burgers were brown and the chips was barely cooked. Very disappointing and won't be ordering again

I blame myself for getting a pizza from a place called Chicken Stop. I ordered fried chicken aswell which to be honest was pretty good.The pizza however was obviously loaded into the drivers car incorrectly as it was folded over and a general mess. I also ordered Pepperoni. The was literally ONE piece of pepperoni on the entire pizza which did make me chuckle. The pizza when flattened back out was like a wet sponge - just squeezed full of grease and went in the bin.Stick to chicken and chips from this place if anhything.

Would definitely NOT recommend...ive just been virtually called a liar for complaining about wrong order being delivered yet again. This place used to be excellent but will not be using anymore

Everyone we order it's always so good. Always great food and amazing delivery times too. Won't stop coming here, try their mixed wrap it's so filling

If there was any lower than 1 star I would. I ordered once and I asked for the burger to come without mayo as I'm allergic to it. Low and behold it comes with mayo. I was shouted at by the cashier. I left a bad review on just eat. I then received a phone call frome the manager apologising. Offer frees food next time. All I had to do was order the same way again and leave a note. So what I do? About a week passed and I ordered the same thing again and paid for it through just eat like the manger told me. I asked for no mayo also.... The enfuriating part was the fact that the delivery driver asked me what it was all about. I explained. He told me that I had to ring the shop next time for my money. I though I'll do it later. But sadly the burger I had ordered without mayo again came with mayo. But they read the note because later I got a phone call when I left another bad review on just eat. The sad thing was I didn't know there would be mayo on it. I bit into it and ended up in hospital for 4 days. So all in all not a pleasant experience. So if you order from here make sure you get what you ordered as I had to pay twice for something that I couldn't eat safely.

My advice would be to avoid this place. The food is sub standard, the service is terrible and the managers attitude is the worst I have ever come across , specially if you ever feel the need to complain about the poor service and quality of food.I've experienced food from almost every take away in Barnsley, and this one (chicken stop, Barnsley) is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had. Disappointing as all the signs were there for it to be a cracking little take away.Don't disappoint yourself, order your food from somewhere else, specially if you want it fresh and to taste good.Do yourself a favour, don't waste the money,The Barnsley food guide
