Chicos in Barnsley

Ordered from Chico's for years but the past 3/4 orders have been horrendous! Not ordered for a couple months now so thought we'd give it another go being NYE & most of its inedible, cold & items missing. When I called to complain the man on the phone was ever so rude & ended the call by saying 'feel free to not order again' & put the phone down on me. Then kept trying to call back but wouldn't go through, wasn't sure if that was down to being busy or if my number had been blocked but I called using my other halves phone & went straight through... bit of a coincidence! Eventually offered to give half our money back which we now have but won't be ordering again! Paid nearly £7 for a cheesy garlic bread & this what was sent! Never even seen garlic never mind cheese!

Ordered food via the app, waited over an hour for delivery which didn't show. When we contacted them to chase it up we were asked if we were sure we had Ordered as they couldn't see our order, yes we did it's in our order history ! We were then told it would be a least another 40mins if we ordered again, no thanks not using you again.

Absolutely disgusting. Vile is the word I'd use.Cold limp chips, worst kebab meat I've ever eaten. Ordered a calzone it was covered in garlic sauce they'd baked it on. Also forgot to send a portion of chips we had ordered, probably was for best to be fair let's call it a blessing In disguise. Chicos was lovely back in the day but seriously gone down hill. They say everything has it's day and this place deffo has. I didn't want to give it 1 star I'd have gave it zero but had to otherwise I couldn't write this review so don't take the one star as a compliment I'm not being kind. Definitely save your money and go elsewhere like I'm gonna.

Ordered 2x kabab meat and chips, for then my order to come and it’s burgers I never ordered! Iv tried ringing this takeaway several times and there’s no answer! Absolute joke

First & last order from Chico's tonight. If that was a LARGE chicken kebab I'd hate to see the small one. £1.20 for an extra salad which would have fit in Palm of my hand !!!!! Probably paying for packaging it came in (cute) On a good note , fries were spot on & garlic mayo . £16 - Not worth it sorry

I Honestly cannot give them 1 star, but had to so to post this. Ordered 2 large chicken kebabs, If these were large i would hate to see the small. The salad is pathetic. Paid for 2 extra salads as i suspected we wouldn't get much, and I was right. The garlic sauce had a strange taste, which i left, and i had to throw away all my salad as it smelled really strange. Perhaps it had been washed in some disinfectant or something, but had a weird smell. The chicken wasn't very plentiful either and bland. First time I've been here and definitely the last.

I rember ordering from Chicos one of the best pizzas ever but it was about half a year ago. Unfortunately today it's quite a waste of money as it's not that fantastic and overall hard to eat it. Too greasy... Tasteless. Quite disappointed

30 years ago my mum and dad bought a pizza from Chicos. Was exotic food in them days, lol. I was hooked. I've used them ever since. Yes they have their ups and downs. But today collected my pizza from Mr Chico himself, and I swear to God, it tasted the same as it did 30 years ago. I have to respect that. PS it's a darn hard to beat pizza

Absolutely disgusted. I went for a kebab and the phone call was rushed and the man who answered was very impolite, when I got it home it was flat cold (I drove home, so was about 3 minutes in the car) and an hour after eating it, it turned my stomach funny and I threw it all up. Would never eat here again. Garlic bread is also disgusting.
