Absolutely good place to go. The Scottish/Northumberland deputy manager was a top lad too thank you for the lush food and for having my Newcastle brown ale in. Please try putting a spicy pizza on the menu and maybe some spicy kinda food

Great service, good town location and the food is what you would expect in any good wetherspoons establishment, the menu has been refreshed and my favourite apple crumble and custard is back.Couldn't give it a 5 though as toilets were not clean.Parking is restricted but there is a free carpark 2 minutes away near the doctors surgery

Weatherspoons is like a local pub where you know what you are getting wherever you go. They are always located in a prominent building and location in a town. This particular restaurant had the feeling of a place congregation for the locals to catch up with friends and families. Although the restaurant was busy, the food arrived relatively quickly. Good ambience and clean.

Food was OK, but staff needing customer service training ,e.g. SMILING, only the team leader a young man was welcoming and smiled, also covid has NOT gone yet, no table cleaning and the clear plastic on the booth dividers was absolutely filthy,

Quite popular yesterday and easy blue badge parking. Food and drink served quickly and chicken was delicious 😋 thanks

I'm not usually a fan of "Chain Pubs" but I can't fault it. It does exactly what it says on the tin. The food is cheap but nice, the service is quick, efficient and very polite. The quality of the drinks for the price is fantastic. Had two meals and two alcoholic drinks for £19. Yes some of it is probably microwaved but for the price I can't complain. I had a curry and it had lots of taste and plenty of chicken. I also like that the menu states the calories and allergy information. The place is clean, a tad old fashioned but I can live with that. I'm not sure what it's like later in in the evening, but for a quick evening meal at teatime I couldn't fault it. The only complaint my partner has is sachet sauces, he hates them. I don't use them so it's fine by me 😂.

Been in plenty of Witherspoon over the whole of England but this one i got to say was poor in customer service and dirty. Let alone the food. Not happy at all and certainly doesn't deserve to be a Witherspoon in staff at all.

Really nice food, relaxed environment and friendly staff. Flies were the most annoying part of the experience but this time of year (late summer) I guess its to be expected. Parking can sometimes be an issue for here but overall not a bad place to dine or drink.

Nice place, friendly staff, good food and beer. Plenty of tables outside (maybe 20+) which is lovely in the sunshine. Four stars not 5 as sadly the food was barely warm when served. That may have been unusual for this place, so I'd say it's well worth a visit. Enjoy !

Very friendly staff and quick service.Food is the same standard as the other Wetherspoon chains and very good value. The only downside to this one is the decor which isn't as imaginative as lots of the other Wetherspoons I've been too and there's only a limited parking facility for a few disabled drivers..Well worth a visit thou if your out and about in Wombwell.
