First visit after a friends recommendation. Absolutely gorgeous. Best Sunday lunch we have had in a long time. We had the beef and it was so tender. Pudding were amazing too. Definitely be back. Lovely pleasent staff too, nothing too much trouble.

We were booked in as a belated mother's day treat for Bottomless Brunch at the Old Post Office. This included a meal and unlimited drinks with a varied choice. We had 1x full English breakfast and 1x eggs benedict. The food was lovely and there is not one negative I could say on that front. The pub was quite busy with a hen party too however the staff were still very attentive. There was one member of staff who didn't really smile and made us feel a bit awkward when ordering drinks. We were also told at half 1 that the drinks we had just ordered were our last and anymore we ordered after that would be put on a tab. If they want last orders at half 1 they need to be changing the finish time to half 1 because at the end of the day it says unlimited til 2 not oh when we think you've had your moneys worth. At the end we also had a comment from a lady thinking we were trying to take a glass when i went out to see if our ride was here. I mean, were not not hard up enough to need to steal a glass! All in all pleasant experience just the little niggle 'customer service ' bits that put me off.

I absolutely love this place. We went here to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. The service was very good and the staff made us feel very special. The food was delicious, with the fillet stake perfectly cooked. It's not a cheap place to eat but is definitely worth every penny. I can't wait for our next visit.

First time we've been here after a trip to a YSP and it was fantastic. Staff friendly and helpful. We'd not booked but they found us a table even though they were very busy. Service was great, very attentive without being overbearing. Food really very nice at a good price point, better than most pub grub in the area and significantly better than any chain. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

Food was good, and beautifully cooked. The Chateaubriand is expensive for what you get. Two individual fillets would be better value. Also being asked to leave your table without prior warning at booking, after spending upwards of £500 between us, I felt was rather rude.If there isn’t enough capacity for following guests, don’t take their bookings and look after the guests you have. You’re either upsetting those who have already paid or those waiting. One or the other will be annoyed.Other than that, good food, good service but after this visit, would I return? Probably not.

Booked in advance for family meal on Sunday eve for 13. Brilliant customer service, food was excellent and all courses were served promptly. Lovely environment. Will definitely return, thanks for a lovely meal! (Note: toilets are down and along a lot of stairs)

Can't recommend enough, been past a few times taking dog to kennels and decided to book for a change. So glad we did, the food is excellent, the staff are dead friendly, the decor is really modern and luxurious and did I mention the food 😋. Liked it so much we've booked for Christmas Eve and our wedding reception 👌

Haven't been here in a while but it was as good as I remember- we had a meal for 9 people, with lots of different choices all of which were very nice- Barnsley chop, chicken burger, rib-eye steak, sausage and mash, pick your own steak-size from a full fillet (went for 8 oz) to name just some of them. Along with some great deserts to follow it was a lovely meal all round. Easy to get to too, just off junction 38 M1.

Recommend that you book a table before hand as it is always busy. It is fair to say that this is more of a restaurant than a pub.Easy to find just off M1, plenty of free parking space. Access would be a little tricky for people who have mobility difficulties a few levels inside. Staff friendly. Good menu choice, prices are a little steep but you get what you pay for. Well presented, tasty food.

Lyndsay has been the most amazing hostess; unbelievably accommodating in helping us to organise our corporate event.Lovely venue, fabulous food, friendly and helpful staff plus Lyndsay's long list of event contacts helped pull together a fantastic & entertainment filled day, within a very short timescale!
