Wow!! Words can’t describe how delicious this food is, the portion sizes are fantastic, so much that we have taken enough for a meal at home tomorrow. We can’t wait to bring friends to the one in Leeds.Don’t hesitate, book a table!

If you are in search for an escape out of monotony and to be transported for a while in Damascus, Bab Tooma Grande is the place. The attention to the details, the beautiful lighting, friendly staff create the perfect atmosphere for a charming dining. I love the Syrian cuisine and I enjoyed every bite of the food I ordered. A wholesome experience of senses and flavours.

Been here a couple of times and it really is lovely. The staff are really helpful and food is great. The decor is stunning too which is always a bonus. The food was lovely, good portion sizes and tasted amazing. We were there on a Thursday evening so it wasn’t too busy. Service was prompt and the food was hot. The lemon and mint drink is completely delicious and incredibly addictive I don’t know what they put in it but it’s gorgeous, do have a glass if you visit, you’ll thank me 😋.Pretty decent portion size which meant I only ate half and took the rest home for lunch the next day, always a bonus.Great for a night out with friends or for date night.

Delicious food, a beautiful restaurant and helpful staff. We had a lovely time here, and we will be back! The meat on the mixed grill platter was so tender and flavorful, the mezze starter dips were aromatic and the bread was fresh and warm. I especially enjoyed the picked turnip garnish, and the baklava desert.Oh and the complimentary lentil soup was so yummy! The only problem I had didn't have anything to do with the restaurant, so I won't be marking it down for it; there was a gaggle of kids running around trying to get to the water fountain which was right next to me - wasn't great being pushed and splashed by a group of small children - but that's not the restaurants fault and they came to my aid rather quick to inform the parents and remove them from my table. If you want tasty food and a bustling atmosphere, clearly a very popular place to eat, this is the restaurant for you!

Quality ingredients, tasty food and authentic syrian food. The only let down here was the fact that the food I ordered was cold by the time it reached me. I asked for starters and mains to arrive seperately and unfortunately, they let the mains go cold before serving.

Went there today 06/02/22 and what an amazing experience. Great family atmosphere and my wife and children absolutely loved it. The food was excellent and on point. Loved the complimentary lentil soup and even took some home. We were also offered so many other complimentary items. We go for family meals on a regular basis and this was by far the best service in any of the Bradford Restaurants we have visited. Saheer, Bela & Ayham welcomed us and provided a 7 star service. Thank you Bab Tooma we will certainly be back again.

Came here with family of 6, it was very busy but the service was excellent 👌. We had the chicken liver and hot potatoes for starters and it was delicious!! The Karen Yarek was also amazing, would definitely recommend. Finally, the Ice-cream baklava and arabic tea for dessert was the perfect end to a lovely evening 😄

We went here for the first time and we was not disappointed! We got there early and it was quiet to begin with however it soon had people flooding through the door. The atmosphere was amazing and the place looks great as soon as you walk through the door. The staff are really friendly and the flavours of the food are amazing. I would personally recommend the Chicken Shawarma, one of the tastiest meals I have had. Great value for money too, the portions are very generous. We got a starter and a main each and we were stuffed afterwards. We shall definitely return soon.

what a vibe!!The decorations were beautiful, if you didn’t look out the windows you could totally imagine being in a different country!!As for the food, it was all so fresh and everything we had tasted absolutely delicious. For starters we had hummus and baba ganoug, both so fresh and tasty, the bread it came with was so soft, piping hot and really moreish.I ordered the Karen Yarek which is roasted aubergine with layer of mince and tomato sauce, served with rice. It may not look the prettiest but it was soo good. Best way I can describe it is similar to lasagne.Hubby had a shawarma mix which he enjoyed and said was very tasty.Even though I was stuffed, I had to try the dessert as they all looked so tempting. I ordered the classic kunafe - it was divine! I managed to gobble 3/4’s of it even after being full from the mains as it was so good.My husband ordered a pot of tea - I have to say, normally you find the tea can be quite bitter - but not this. It was definitely the best tea i’ve had in a middle eastern restaurant, hands down. Very smooth with just a hint of mint. Perfect end to the meal.I have to say, it felt like a very authentic experience.
