Great choice of ales, both cask and keg at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and a good vibe. Top boozer. Tremendous apple sour was on the day we visited.

We had a great anniversary meal here when we were on holiday. My husband was a bit worried about visiting due to being vulnerable to Covid, and the staff couldn't have done more for us to feel safe and relaxed. We were given a table away from the busy part of the restaurant, the staff wore masks for us (at a time when it wasn't mandatory) and we were never made to feel like it was an inconvenience for them. A must visit if you are ever in Ilkley - I had the special of the day, a lamb burger, and it was absolutely delicious. It is scarcely possible to recommend this pub enough.

Stopped off at Bat T'at for lunch on brief visit to Ilkley. Received swift, friendly service and delicious pub classics at sensible prices. Covid mitigations were well implemented too. Recommended.
