1 strand of donner on my chips literally a bite size piece for £3.70 i was charged again 70p to be given 1 more mini piece of donner meat then I had to pay extra again for a a little bite size more hardly had any chips and the man who serve people give me nothing but evil looks as a youtuber with 3 million views i will not recommend barker end fisheries to anybody. i will never order off just eat app from here too as i spent loads of money at this place. but wen i went to the store different story a very unhappy man serving customers. even though i payed money for your food you the 1 strand of donner meat on my chips with the look of anger from him. my food review about barker end fisheries will be out soon,.

I feel so bad doing this but ... Im sorry Barkerend Fisheries but I will have to change my 5 star to 1.Ordered Donner Meat and Chips with 2 Tubs of Sauce... I was charged 7.65. What the extra 75p was for I do not know ... however I was not going to make a fuss over this. The price was ridiculous as it is.But 1.20 for a tub of sauce... is a joke.I've been coming here ever since I was a child... and it was one of the shops in the community you'd feel proud of. Now... the food doesn't taste as fresh and I have come across this one too many times now.Safe to say... this was last ever visit here... I say that with great difficulty.Gutted.

Extremely disappointed with the food this evening, some of our order was missing and the portion was shockingly reduced. The peri burger was tasteless and the full chicken dry.

The fish and chips was fine, I got intouch with just eat about the mushy peas, they refunded me £1.20 but was not the point I was trying to make they was a health hazard, they was litrally neon green and smelt so bad I threw up i sent pictures to there Facebook they looked and never replied, I'm glad I smell food before I taste, or give them to my child,I have no idea what was in that but its smelt as if something had died for months in that tub, I'm so disgusted you could even send that to someone, I didn't even taste them and I threw up, imagine if I'd actually ate them,The mushy peas litrally looked like they'd put neon slime in there with oil and peas. Avoid! Health hazard that was I feel sick looking at the pictures I did.. luckily im viral on tiktok and so are your peas. Just didn't name you until you dismissed my Facebook messages and ignored me.. time to name you

Not happy being short changed, always by the same person, definitely needs sorting out, ok although by a bit, but it's the principal!Last time bought a full chicken on its own & got charged £11.Today 2 cheese burger meals, 1 cheese burger & chips & 2 scollops, the same guy charged me £14.88. out of curiosity I thought would check the menu online & it states 2 cheese burger meals £3.99 each, 1 cheese burger & chips £3.50 & 2 scollops £0.99 each, so total should of been £13.46!!!Ps the scollops were not cooked and the guy had a problem with customer service, as when asked for sauce on the chips, apparently it was to much to ask!It's always the same guy short changing, guys please check your change at the shop and ask the prices!!!

Ordered 3 fish and chips. We were all very disappointed. We've known them since early 90s. From all of the potions the chips were either over cookers or under cooked they weren't properly cooked. The fish on the other hand, where do I start? Absolutely disappointed and it was ridiculous. The fish that we got was skinner than a stick (it's liget was) or shall I say what fish? I mean batter. Had no clean fish on it, it had the scales on this fish and the fish was filled with black stuff. There was only one clean fish in one of the portions or shall I say the fish was only 1/3 of the whole meal. The fish batter was hard and came off the fish straight away. Paid £6.50 for each meal and totally WASN'T worth it. They also might be deaf..... Or they just don't concentrate on what your saying. (I'm surprised they got my order right (well some of it) but u am still disappointed)I told them I would like 3 mint sauce and ended up with 1 curry sauce. Absolutely disappointed with that due to I paid for 3 mint sauces and didn't didn't get one. The customer service was alright (that's why they deserve one star) but overall horrible food.

Ordered 2 large fish and chips.Came pretty quickly...Now I know why.The chips were undercooked, like, alot. Fish was cooked, however cold and soggy.1 unhappy child and 1 unhappy 4.5month pregnant Mrs CHECK.Will not be ordering here again and will recommend others follow.

This place was once quite good. Now it's highly overpriced and extremely poor quality. Fish and chips are really expensive for the quality you get and are full to the brim with oil and always soggy. Total waste of £15. These fish and chips are one the worst I've come across and extremely unhealthy. Proper fish and chips are never soggy or full.of oil. Customer service is non existant.
