Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms in Bradford

First visit to the Ilkley branch lovely light cafe with warm Yorkshire Betty’s service and delicious vegan breakfast particularly enjoyed the aubergine

It's hard not to like Betty's. As a southerner living in Yorkshire, it captures things I love about the place - a warm welcome, classic comfort and a large selection of cakes and other tasty morsels. There's a grand array of tea and coffee, and an indulgent breakfast and lunch menu to enjoy in a heavily mirrored but still oddly elegant Victorian style dining room. Beware, the queues get very long as it is very popular with locals and tourists, summer and winter. And don't expect the bill to be small for enjoying such a popular attraction.

Betty my favourite tea place. It's a grand place to hang out. Whenever I come to Ilkley I always pay a visit here. Wonderful tea, friendly staff, classic decor. Desserts and tea are simply too good. The shop so pretty always chance to take some goodies home.

Absolutely priceless dine in experience. The wonderful staff made you feel like royalty. A must do on everyone’s list of things to do. Will definitely come back 10/10

This is our usual tea hangout place for the family and absolutely love their afternoon tea and the dine in menu.Their tea blend is one of the best and would recommend buying one to take home. Have always left this place satisfied.So much effort is put into each and every dish that it just shows. Pricing is just right.The staff are very courteous and the bakes in the front have some must buys..definitely recommend this place if you are into old fashioned English style of dining..its like an another era inside in a good way.The fat rascals and the Yorkshire tea cake which they sell is a hit with my family.

Shop and Cafe are fantastic! Staff are always first class and clearly enjoy working here. Often queues at peak times for the cafe as you can’t book, but the food is amazing. Always something in the shop worth taking home flip have with your tea or coffee.

Not the sort of place I’d normally, we came here with my partner’s mum to celebrate her 80th birthday.It was really good and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were all lovely, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.I had the schnitzel which was excellent, as expected, the tea and cakes were fabulous. Highly recommended, I’d come back in a flash!

Well, what can I say...... absolutely delicious, always worth it from the ambiance, service, quality cutlery etc. We had the breakfast Rosti and the taste will live with us a long time. We also had a cafetiere of coffee each, one Christmas blend the other Columbian. You get a good 2.5 cups out of one pot.

Excellent as always😋 Service of a very high standard. Food delicious, proper tea. You pay a slightly higher price for good quality. Well done to Betty's, Ilkley.

A great place to have a meal at any time of day. Or pop in to buy some of the tasty bakery treats. The quality of all the food is second to none as is the service. It may not be the cheapest cafe around but then you are paying for the experience of a traditional tea room with very good quality food and drink.
