Akbar's legendary food in an alcohol free environment ❤️👌!1. Karahis and starters are spot on: all curry dishes are done to a high standard (we enjoy the mixed keema and chicken) with a nicely sized garlic naan to get you across the line 👍 - Oh, don't forget the cheesy sheekh kebabs (two x six inches)2. Plenty of seating / minimal waiting time: vibrant atmosphere and good number of booths; music can get loud so feel free to ask the waiter to help turn in down 🤲 - Can get super busy during peak times3. Customer service: always polite and on point, they do get busy sometimes so bear with them if they take a little longer4. Prayer room facilities: for those inclined that way, make sure to schedule this in before / after your Akbar's experience (we didn't need to pray while we were there, so phone ahead / many local mosques available)5. Parking limited: mostly street parking; make sure to schedule some time to find a good spot, some options on adjacent streets (safe to park)

We went in as soon as it opened at 4.30 pm on a Sunday. The place got packed really quickly as people were waiting to go in. Fast service and delicious food.I got a raspberry Mojitos which was very refreshing along with mango lassi. For starters, we ordered masala fish, sheekh kebab, and chicken pakora. We thoroughly enjoyed them all! For mains, we ordered a chicken karahi and gosht handi with garlic naan. The chicken was nice but didn't like the gosht as much. We even ordered another naan mid meal and it came really fast!We then got a chicken biryani with raita. That was also nice, but it was amazing with the raita. The best raita I've had at a restaurant, lol. I would go again for the raita 😂

Great quality food cooked to perfection, good service, reasonably priced and family orientated.

This salad will explain the quality of food on this restaurant and that's after asking for fresh salad and returning the first plate. music was so loud I couldn't hear the guy taking order I mentioned and he ignored.he didn't ask if we like our dish mild or spicy and we have been served with a dish full of green spicy chili.

Excellent the thing to order is Chursee Karahi It's the best ,me and my kids really enjoyed the evening and the manager was excellent 👍 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

·

Super welcoming restaurant for families. Love taking the kids here. Curries fantastic as always. Particularly recommend the King Prawn Karahi. Be great to see a few Kebabs on the mains in the future!

If i could i give zero stars i would. Hair found in the curry as well as a cylinder piece of plastic. We were not offered a full refund despite evidence being shown.Zero customer service. Will not be returning.I do not recommend anyone visit this place. This place has also been reported to the food standard agency for its clear lack of hygine and selling food containing a foriegn object on more than one occasion.

The food was average, nothing special. Had a few issues with the food nothing was hot everything was just warm barely. But one thing that was great was the service everyone was pleasant and always available. Great seating as well.
