Great place to meet up and have a drink.

Latte and lemon cake to die for mmm delicious served with a tub of cream and strawberries 🍓. Heaven. Served by a very pleasant 😊and helpful lady .

Service efficient and friendly. Food very tasty but snack type menu. Apart from the daily specials board. This is shared with J Reserve next door which operates more like a restaurant.

The food is superb and the portions adequate. The quality of food is reflected in the price. The service is second to none, particularly now during covid measures, and nothing is too much trouble. I have been dining here quite regularly for over three years and have never been disappointed.

Fabulous time at a party gathering this evening. Wonderful hot buffet including the best fish pie and quiche I ever tasted! Great cosy place.. welcoming and friendly staff too. Thankyou Julie, Katie and Adam for your hospitality. I shall definitely be spreading a good word.

Good food in lovely homely surround with real China. Look out for Laurel and Hardy. Great cakes great staff. Find it at the Skipton end of the main street and enjoy.

65 people including myself attended a Walking Football event on 20 December. Cafe J provided nothing like enough food for the buffet given the numbers attending, wrongly accusing some of eating too much. This was clearly not the case, and very disappointing for the organiser who had planned the event for some time, and for those who failed to get any food after the football.

Simple but delicious food, caters to all sorts from Vegan to meat munchers. Great ambience, and lovely and warm in winter in front of the log fire. Highly recommended from an Ilkley resident

Nice little basement cafe with a good selection of sandwiches and hot lunches, as well as a good coffee and tea selection. Has a licence to sell alcohol, and allows well behaved dogs

Very welcoming. The log burning stove was a grand site and soon warmed us up after a brisk cold walk. Food excellent and a treat for your four legged companion.
