If I could give 5 stars for the taste I would but I would like to ask the following questions1. Why are the portions so so small? Yet the price is so expensive?2. Why are you using half a polystyrene take out container? when paper or cardboard box would be much more suitable and eco friendly! My only thought was to control portion size…3. There is no excuse to use plastic forks or horrible half a Polystyrene container so why use them?You have so much potential amazing food but let down by bad choices and unacceptable portion size to price RatiosI feel like there is someone in charge who oversees in the background unwilling to chance and it’s very unfortunate.

Lovely chip shop perfectly placed at the top of the hill. Great to grab one bag and share with the family whilst walking down the hill…

Nice fish and chips. Battered pigs in Blanket was lovely. Friendly staff

Chips only. May have been an off day but they were not great and it was a stingy portion on a very shallow tray to boot.

Been visiting here for many years. Travelling from dewsbury. The fish and chips are the best around staff always happy and friendly. Can't wait to sit in at our window table but will be over this week and happy to sit outside 😊

Best gluten free fish & chips ever! Been gluten free for 18 years and never had such good gf fish and chips, great batter and good size fish, chips excellent too.

Just had the best ever fish and chips here! Lovely people running the chippy, with some outdoor seating available. Best of all we got some proper Yorkshire fishcakes to take home. Brilliant!!

We had fish, chips and peas, initially the fish looked quite big, but when you dismiss the ridiculously small tray and strip back the excess batter, the tasty fish was a little on the small side. (take a look at Yadira's excellent photo for perspective ) Chips and peas were decent. The meal laid a bit heavy on the stomach.

Top quality fish n chips. Crisp batter on thick tasty fish. Fried in oil so chips and mushy peas for the veggies. Lovely friendly staff. Perfect treat after a long walk.
