Super food, lovely staff and tremendous location what's not to like! Ticks all the boxes. When we went on Mother's day this year by a mix up we found we'd booked the wrong day but they managed to seat us even so. Brilliant!

Strongly recommended pub and definitely worth the trip out to it, for the views, beer, and food. Very friendly atmosphere. We went Tuesady afternoon in March and it was busy without being full.The menu is excellent, good vegetarian choice, usual pub level prices - not very cheap, but not expensive either. Good choice of beers and wines.Plenty of parking available, though we walked to it. It is the perfect starting point for a walk across the moors to Ilkley, which is what we did!!Lots of outdoor seating for when the weather is good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilet is quiet a climb upstairs, but very clean, and has a magnificent view!Well known place locally and deserves its good reputation.

Had a lovely sunday lunch here while staying at Faweather Grange, massive car park, lovely freindly staff and nice scenenic location. Had the sunday roast with pork, beef and turkey all cooked to perfection, the pork was particularly nice. Cant fault the place, lovely dessert too we had the banoffee cheesecake. Not too busy at 12ish didnt book still got a table in the bar area.

First time here for Sunday lunch it was beautiful the baby potatoes qere so safe and tasty I had the 3 meats the roasties were perfect crispy outside and very fluffy in not tight with gravy line some places. My wife had the lasagne she said it was so tasty and very filling we had dessert the apple and raspberry crumble gorgeous not to much not very sweet and plenty of custard my wife had double chocolate brownie I highly recommend a visit. Staff were helpful polite and the price is reasonable

Friendly atmosphere, good food. A busy place with a descent menu. It was a bit cold as they had a problem with the heating system. Beautiful views, will be better in the summer

Would have been a five, alas the heating was down. Was good of them to bring heaters to each table and also extra heaters if you were still cold. Foods amazing and having log fires in use os a nice touch.

Lovely pub with great views across Bradford. Great to sit out in summer and nice and cosy inside in winter. Dog friendly too and even have treats for them.

Dropped in for Sunday lunch, what an amazing pub. Wonderful old world decor. Great staff, super fast service. Fantastic food.cant wait for summer to sit out on the front lawn watching the sun go down.

We stopped to try this seemingly popular pub. We drove past many times in the past and the car park always seemed full.We ordered Sunday roast with three types of meat.What a complete disaster!!!The pork was sort of ok,beef and turkey too dry.The worst thing was the spuds. It was a joke!! After one bite, I gave up. My husband, nicknamed as spuds-vaccum-cleaner left a few on his plate, which never happened in the past. The brocolli was over cooked. The only thing on the plate which was good was parsnip.The view was great when you sat in their garden. Staff was friendly. The food not acceptable. Go there to have a drink and enjoy the view. For food, go somewhere else. The quality of their Sunday roast is worse than carvery.

Friendly staff, attentive, humorous. Efficient whilst relaxed. Food was very good. Really good value for money. We all had 3 courses and were full. Beer was well kept. A few plating issues, but they were dealt with with good humour.
