Hold King Chinese Takeaway in Bradford

didnt like the food to be honest, i only went here because our local one is shut on a tuesday( that will teach me ha), rice stodgy and chicken not taste nice😝😔

We paid £20.60 for 2 half portions & 2 measly sides, completely out of order & waste of money. Stick to China Red if you want value for money its located in Shipley centre & they do deliver...give this Hold King a rest no point ordering!!! 👎

honestly this is by far the worst place I've ever got a chinese from. ordered special schezuan which is a large container. I had barely any meat and mostly the crispy vegetable tofu type that tastes of wood. after I had picked out all of that and got to taste the rest I thought I'd just ate pure salt. I asked for (dry) shredded crispy beef and instead I got crispy beef in sweet and sour sauce. I dont know if it was a different chef or if it's because of lockdown but I can never trust to eat from here again! ended up throwing it all away and ordering elsewhere, when I got the food from there it was hot, had plenty of chicken beef etc the rice was light and not burned and I didnt need to drink a litre of water to quench thirst after all the salt. I'd say avoid but maybe was an off night who knows. chance it if you need to

Have bought from here for years, tonight was the worst I have ever had, the meals looked like they had been microwaved an the salt n peppa were aneemic. Rang to speak with the owners whom were not interested one bit. Won't be going back!!!

Absolutely disgusting customer service I ordered my takeaway and I was told it would be delivered with in 50 minutes to an hour to only get a text 15 minutes later saying we cannot deliver your food due to it being busy and that it’s too far even tho it’s only a 16 minute drive from the takeaway, I will not be ordering food from here again I think the staff are incredibly arrogant and need be more switched on when taking orders

I'm very lucky to have Hold King as our local Chinese takeaway. The food is consistently good, very tasty and a pleasure to eat. I cannot rate hold king to highly.

Ordered beef and black bean with fried rice. Expecting to get two trays. It came in one and to top it all it was chicken not beef. The portion was tiny. I will never go there again. Diabolical

Overall a very solid place to order from, I like what they do with their Salt + Pepper Dishes and I've not had a bad experience eating from here.
