Disappointed, we presumed the Soire Gastronomique evenings purpose would be to entice future custom from the varied dishes offered. Oh dear, all front of house were untrained, not their fault. No one educated on service with a smile, clearing and laying the tables around us the whole time. Food not fresh, sadly we have cooked better ourselves. If it helps, some basics to start.. please provide a napkin as opposed to paper cheapo serviettes, offer to pour the wine and don't just dump on the table , hopefully someone will bother to re educate and help what could be a success.

Super lunch at Pierre’s today. Fab staff and a very warm welcome by management. Although we were half hour late for our booking we was met with smiles, good food, good service and nothing was too much to ask for.

Called on the off chance and managed to get the last free table. Prompt courteous service and food was both well presented and tasty. Ate off the fixed, price menu and was very reasonably priced. Very friendly front of house team, would certainly eeturn

Lovely meal as part of the two courses for ÂŁ13.95, the mushroom on toast was delicious, and the steak was divine, cooked to perfection

** If you find this review helpful, please give me a thumbs up so I know I'm helping you all! **Fantastic food and a great environment. Cost, smart casual…classy! Will definitely be going back here again soon. The waiting staff were polite and the food arrived to the table, piping hot. Good selections of drinks too. The French 75 is particularly tasty! If you haven’t been, I’d highly recommend going.Ample parking just across the street, in the main Ilkley car park, or short walk from the train station.

Lovely food, hadn't been in a good while but will be sure not to leave it so long again! My wife and I had the calamari and creamy mushrooms for starters, chicken chasseur and bavette steak for mains, with a side of dauphinoise potatoes, then creme brulee and sticky toffee pudding for desserts. They have a good selection of gluten free options.

Very nice if you can avail yourself of their prix fixe menu deal and the heating. Unfortunately both were a bit lacking when we called. Food is always innovative and of good quality. Nice place.

Beyond awful. Had been to Bistrot Pierre at Ilkley some while ago and had a bad experience, but reading the good reviews here our party decided to try it again, wish we had not bothered. Staff at bar had not got a clue what drinks were available. When we started our meal we had to ask for everything, salt and pepper please....jug of (warm) water please....cutlery is old and tarnished and looks dirty. I had opted for the Roast Chicken dinner which was described on the menu as....`All our Sunday roasts are served with roast and dauphinoise potatoes (this is a Bistrot roast after all), braised red cabbage, broccoli, carrots, Yorkshire pudding and red wine gravy.` WHAT I GOT WAS A SLAB OF DRY CHICKEN WITH A TUB OF OVER SALTED FRENCH FRY MICRO CHIPS! might as well have gone to McDonalds! We ordered coffees and after they were served we sat waiting for milk/cream sugar, eventually had to call waitress and ask for this! Some of our party commented on how empty the large restaurant was for a Sunday afternoon, only 4 tables occupied as far as we could see, obviously the locals know to avoid this place. Then even though they had insisted that we leave a deposit on booking of ÂŁ10 per person, they tried to charge us the FULL bill and seemingly did not know that we had paid already.UPDATE.....After being asked to contact the manager, I did so offering to help in any way to give advice on improvements........2 weeks later and no reply! Obviously could not care less about customer comments or improving their appalling service.

Had a lovely meal here today. 3 courses for ÂŁ14.95 ( before 6pm) fantastic value for money. Food was delicious and staff were excellent. If we are ever in Ilkley again we'll be visiting this restaurant without a doubt .
