Mother Hubbard's in Bradford

Very disappointed. Noticed new faces in the form staff and on this occasion bought fish & chips, fish tacos and spicy fish. Fish tacos are ok. Spicy fish is bad, due to hardened batter which was cracking off. Chips appeared under fried and clearly appeared oily. Standards have gone down on this occasion. Overall, won't be inclined to buy here again as good money has been wasted. Definitely need experienced chefs!

Prices have increased at this Ingelby road mother Hubbards by a lotSpecial and chips was £9.45 last time I went not so long ago now it’s shockingly gone up by £3.00 to ***£12.95 ****Noticed at this branch everything has increased in priceI checked with the other 2 branches Legrams lane and Leeds road mother Hubbards prices still similar as before (£9.95)On the website prices are different aswell

Clean and tidy place. Plenty of parking spaces available. Fish was done perfectly 10/10. Batter was crispy and cooked all the way through, and not oily or under cooked. Chips were acceptable 7/10. Mushy pease were great 10/10, not too runny or under cooked. There was a wide selection of soda cans. Even though I ordered a special, I didn't have to wait too long before the waitress brought it over to my table.

In a word... Awful.It's also overpriced. Simply living off the legacy of the founder but as is typical unable to sustain the standards. Tasteless mush but packaged nicely.To make matters worse the bread bun they gave me had mould growing on it & not just a bit.All fur coat and no knickers. Avoid.

Big potions specially chips and quality is poor and rajas and this place doesn't do cardpayments because they can do tax men over wat a joke go dw to wajas on manchester Rd they do nice fish and chip's

£7.75 for regular fish & chips. That's without sauces, drinks and any thing extra like mushy peas.

Visited this fish n chip shop as I was passing by and heard the name alot. The place was clean, nice seating available, friendly staff, decent price, collection of drinks, nice long fish not too greasy and parking outside. 2 stars because I’ve been to most of the best fish and chips shops in the Uk and this was probs just the best Bradford has to offerThink when it first opened it must have been good but now has lost its fireI’m going by fish and chips I’ve tried all over the UkAs I’m a fish and chips pro and know what it should taste likeNice venue but shame about the fish and chipsAnd why so many chips ??Both were 2/5 stars sorry to say guysBut you need to get your mojo back.

Wow Fish and chips is done right here. Very delicious would recommend to all who love their fish and chips.Very nice and lit place, nice and cozy sitting, good for family dinner’s.I really liked their interior and cleanliness was really good which is biggest plus point in any food place.

Excellent Fish & Chips amongst other food on the menu. They use vegetarian oil for the fryer and it is of a very good quality and doesn’t compromise on the taste. Also it’s clean and well decorated and the there is seating if you want to eat in. Car park is good out front.
