Been here for breakfast and a evening meal and I'm quite impressed. The tables are clean and hygienically cleaned between diners visiting. The bar staff are always cheerful and very helpful. The waiters/waitresses are always polite and once again, always happy to help with any questions you may have. The food is OK but could be better, I've found on both occasions that the food is only really luke warm. Don't get me wrong, the taste is there but the heat is letting the side down.Would I go again, of course I would. Its still great value for money and good pub atmosphere.

Took a cake in in advance and they brought it out with the candles I took for my friends birthday. They had such a smile on their face and made the whole experience lovely. Staff cleared plates and emptied glasses away regularly, all in all I had a good experience

Came here for the Sunday roast dinner meal came to ÂŁ27 for three meals..the atmosphere was pleasant and family orientated some booths have TVs with kids cartoons anlso has a indoor play area the staff seemed nice also...the food however was up and down with Brussel sprouts over cooked to the consistency of wet tissue the mash was clearly made from a powder.and the worst roast potatoes I've ever had...the meat however was delicious....and so was the gravy....

Absolutely amazing food. Been wanting to go for a while now and finally went for my partners birthday. Ended up ordering way too much food but for ÂŁ40 including a drink each, it really wasn't that expensive for how much we got which was a sharing starter, 2 mains and 2 drinks. We'll definitely be going again!

Haven’t been for a while mainly due to covid but they didn’t disappoint - just how I remembered it and lovely food

This is a chain pub (Hungry Horse or something) but do not let that put you off. It really is rather good. For one thing, its a lot more 'adult' friendly than a lot of chain pubs these days but there is still just enough family friendliness to keep kids happy enough. The food is absolutely first class, there is a great selection and its not too expensive. It was the best steak I've ever had in a chain pub. Good choice of drinks both alcoholic and non. The best thing though is the staff. They all seemed very young but they all clearly have been well trained in the fine art of customer service. Its ideally situated next to the Ibis hotel so very handy for travellers. Do try this pub. An easy 5 stars.

Very basic. To be honest there were a few of us, but the service was poor. The steak was cold, which they rectified with a freshly cooked one. One order was wrong. 4 of the orders took twice as long as the others to arrive. It has been better in the past so I don't know if they are struggling for staff at the moment. It's good that the play area is free but it really is very small and tired and didn't really hold the kids attention for long.

The food was great, good veggie options. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The soft play was great for the kids to keep them occupied while food was ordered.

The staff here are really friendly and helpful. The menu is of traditional pub food that’s always to an excellent standard. There is a Daily special everyday which is great value for money. Clean and smart inside and very well maintained. Worth a visit if your in the area 👍🏻
