Excellent staff, food great value for money, visit regularly always leave highly satisfied.Had a family meal for 18 on Saturday and the chef delivered amazing food for us all.Eating here again this week for lunch with my sister....

Lunch with my mum last week. First time l've ever been despite living local. First impressions? Needs a makeover, bit old fashioned & worn.Seemed very popular, probably about 100 in there, good for a weekday, did notice there was some sort of OAP lunch deal on...I had a prawn baguette with salad & chips, there was plenty of it and l couldn't finish it all. It was ok, had better, had worse...I'd probably have given it 4 stars as it was great value inc drinks but the staff were 2 stars and l don't think it was their fault. They were clearly short staffed & stressed this made them to put it politely, impatient, not our fault though?

Honestly is a rather nice pub however one of the members of staff is so rude! I am 18 and turned last month but my ID hasn’t arrived so I usually have my boyfriend buy my drinks, an older lady behind bar noticed and came to our table and asked for ID for both me and my friend. My friend showed her ID which was a provisional and she said that they don’t accept provisionals, then my boyfriend came back over from the pool table and told her I won’t be drinking anymore but I am over 18 however she continued to say she didn’t believe him. Tonight he has gone back to that pub but I was at work so I didn’t go, she recognised him from the previous week and went over and decided to talk rather rudely about me, my boyfriend firstly sent me this message “ We will see baby we was gunna pick u up but cos we was at the pub we was at last week she wouldn’t let u in she kept talking bout u xx” and then followed it with this “ She’s a knob I showed her the pic of u with ur 18 ballon’s n she goes I could stand in front of a 21 ballon b day I’m 21 n I go that’s cos ur sad 😂😂xx” lovey YOU are clearly not 21. Honestly the behaviour of this woman is disgraceful, I could simply go just to spend time with friends but she now apparently wont let me in the pub despite the fact that I did nothing wrong. I have been warned about this woman before by friends in the past who have come here and told that she’s a pain in the a***

Lovely food, good service and a friendly atmosphere. Will visit again.

My nan went for her Christmas lunch and said it was absolutely amazing. Food was amazing and the staff were exceptional. Its the best Chrismas dinner shes had she will be coming again . I can back this up i visit a couple of times every couple of weeks and the staff are always friendly and it's good prices . Quality pub

The food was good, competitively priced and good sized portions. There was a bit of a wait but on a busy Sunday afternoon, it was understandable. Sky Sports in all bar areas and a reasonable choice of drinks.

This is my local, but until recently never went in, but it's a great pub. Staff very friendly. Good value food. Nothing to dislike
