Gorgeous Roast Beef Sunday Lunch 5 stars 👍

A great place to eat, we sat outside on Friday 15th April to a delightful warm evening. Food portions are generous and yummy😋 (steak and ale pie, chicken in a sweet chilli stir fry)with good friendly service.

Staff served us out in the beer garden so didn't venture indoors. The young lady who took our order was lovely. This is dog friendly

What a lovely place with lovely staff and great food. Stopped here heading home from Howarth (we didn't get far before spotting this place!). Really well presented, clean and fresh. The team were great especially with our 2yr old 😊. We took the Sunday Roast Platter for 2, and for £36 was ample amount for 2 that love their food. You get all the meats on offer that day (and a lot of it), homemade yorkies, pigs in blankets (and these aren't your normal dinky ones from Asda, these are whopping great big sausages!), Loads of veg Inc cauliflower cheese, roasties with lots of pepper and plenty of gravy (of which you can ask for more!). Meat was tender and melt in your mouth. Everything else was fantastic, tasty and hot too. Little fella had chicken nuggets chips and peas, which he wolfed down so must've been good. Overall, we really enjoyed it here and will definitely be back in the near future... Thanks guys 😀

Lovely pub. Very welcoming with a superb patio area. The beer here was excellent and the food was superb.The quality of the burger was excellent.Would revisit.

Smothered Chicken this was a lovely meal in the Sun Inn, £12.95.Food was hot , delicious and plentiful.Great clean friendly pub , on the edge of Howarth villageDogs welcome, so good for walkers .Staff polite and service was excellent.Highly recommend a visit .

I think that you have to book to eat there. We were very lucky and got a table for 2. I ordered a pint of Landlord and half a Carlsberg for the wife, she had goats cheese lasagne and I a roast dinner plus an extra portion of cauliflower cheese,which was great. Took a while to come, but was worth the wait. Only downside the other vegetables were a bit stewed. Lovely clean toilets and the service was excellent.

Had a nice pint in the outside sunny well spaced beer garden. Friendly staff and pretty good prices for the top of Haworth. Didn't venture inside this time but will soon for sure.

Beautiful setting and restaurant/ pub. Fabulous staff who recommended the carrot cake which is to die for! Thank you, sorry our trip was short but well worth visiting

There was an unfortunate mix up with our order and we didn't get the meal we asked for, HOWEVER the staff were so apologetic and went the extra mile to rectify the issue so we couldn't have asked for more. All three courses we had were delicious and the service, on a very busy evening was great. Even though we live locally, this was our first visit to The Old Sun Inn, but we will definitely go again.
