Great experience definatly with staff. Interview a person they get the job then three weeks into the job sends a Txt, no phone call or to the persons face.It read I can't afford to lose customers I've said your hair is to long before now I'm going to have to let you go.You knew her hair length when you first saw her yet it took three weeks for you to tell someone this I pressure you supply hair nets, or caps.I must say a bit pathetic lose customers because somebody has long hair.So what do you plan to do to get more custom put topless dancers on..& judging from some of your reviews people being sick, selling a bad batch of fish, which surely you would or should know the diffedifference if you don't know there is something wrong, the baby portions to an adult, tut tut tut.

I must say as a regular customer Im' very unpleasant with today's visit. With prices going up few months(understandably) and now portions gone down. Portion of regular haddock was probably kids portion and only handful of chips (regular chips used to be decent portion). On top of that lady serving me asked me for 10p for a carrier bag (understandably) and I had to wait few mins for change until next customer was served because she didn't want to open till... Just one word comes to my mind - appalling! To owner: until portions won't be looked at you lost your weekly customer...EDIT: They couldn't give me wrong order as they prepared it in front of me. You totally didn't get what I said. I'm not bothered about freebies, I'd rather you look into portions.

Awesome, proper fish and chips, just how they should be. My mum's chip butty was enormous. I don't live nearby but I will go out of my way to return.

Food good but social distancing is a big issue when staff allow 4 customers in the very small shop at the same time. No customers had masks on and neither did the staff which is concerning as there is no protective screen where the fryers are.

Best fish & chip shop around this area. Good traditional chippy like the good old days. Staff are always cheerful and very friendly and helpful. The fish is amazing, traditional mushy peas the ones you steep not tinned. Wont go anywhere else now for our fish & chips.
