A huge thank you to Rob and his team for agreeing to supply afternoon tea for my dads 80th birthday last Friday during lockdown, even though they are not open at the moment.The food was delicious as you can see and it made my dads day.Good luck when you finally reopen, you've gained a super fan!Sally. :)

Such a lovely local bar, great music, great cocktails and very attentive staff. Covid-19 precautions are excellent, we felt very comfortable and safe. JEF's cocktail masterclass was a marvel, the guy went out his way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves, a very rare trait in today's day especially in light of the current circumstances. Will 100% be returning and already looking forward to it!

Couldn't believe the attitude towards my allergies, refused to make a small batch of tuna mayo without onion, lazy and rude! Front of House staff member obviously felt bad and was super apologetic, she was very friendly and helpful despite the person in back

Great food, service and lovely scones. Really good selection of vegetarian food, I am a huge fan of the frittata. Items are also available to take away for when time is limited.

Staff are always friendly, food is beautiful never fault it. Picture is of cauliflower and cheese soup with half a sandwich and salad (about £7). They offer afternoon tea (about £15) or with processco (about £17) order 24hours in advance for this option.Downstairs is a coffee area with cakes or there's upstairs for breakfast / lunch with tea / coffee and cakes . Very nice and warm . Highly recommend.

These people know how to throw a party!My brother-in-law had his birthday party here for 20 odd of us and it was fantastic. We had to pre-order the menu 9option, which I understand is necessary for groups, but I'm not a fan of this. However, no worries as all dishes were great. I loved my soup, (which was as good as you'd get anywhere), chicken main, and treacle toffee pudding and cream! I hate wasted food, so I was delighted to see that veg and potatoes, all cooked to perfection, were delivered in bowls to share. No skimping with any of the portions! Great service from friendly, hard working staff! If you live anywhere near and are looking for a first class venue, this is it! Well impressed!
