Went here on Easter Saturday just gone. Looked fairly busy so we gave it a try. I ordered a Cheeseburger with side chips. They wasn’t chips they looked like French fries and was sort of ok with salt on. Now the Burger. My wife said it looked pink inside and I continued to eat it. Not knowing I was probably poisoned, going to the toilet roughly 15-20 times during the following day Sunday at home. Not amused whatsoever. Be careful guy’s and gals 😡😡

Very friendly and attentive staff. Food is mostly good value for money. Shame about the thin watery lumpy custard. Need to use a better custard! Great location and nice views. They cater for vegetarian/vegans which is good.

Prime position, great view out of the window, friendly staff... but food is pants - cheapest of cheap ingredients - while still being expensive. They've been going ages, so I guess this works for them. Fair enough.

THIS CAFE SERVES POOR FOOD AND RIPS OFF THE TOURISTS AND THE CAFE OWNERS DON'T CARE.We visited this cafe at lunchtime on 27th December. There was six of us. We ordered 4 soups, 1 jacket with meat chilli, bowl of chips, 2 teas, 2 coffees, 1 cola, 1 choc milkshake and 2 scones. The soups arrived and all four of them were watered down. My son's soup was that bad that there was around 10cm of translucent liquid floating above the main body of the soup, the other soups were similar. The soups were in edible, you might as well drank a glass of flavoured water. I ordered Jacket potato with meat chilli, I was served jacket potato with vegetarian chilli, the Jacket was warm and hard. We also had scones as well, they were stale served. My family members didn't want to complain and make a fuss.We heard another couple complaining about their food and the guy serving was rude and felt as though he was bullying them to accept what has been served to them. After we had eaten, although the soups were left. I went to pay up. The man asked everything ok?. I said no, The Soups were inedible and watered down. He commented, we don't water down soups here. He then said I will take off the price of the soup off the Bill. He then produced the Bill of £38. This to me looked steep for just 6 drinks, a bowl of chips, two scones and a jacket potato chilli. I paid the bill. He was then rude in a sarcastic manner saying I took the soups off the bill and I do hope that you had a nice christmas. After we left I checked outside the cafe as there was the menu with prices on the wall. The man in the cafe didn't take off the soups from the bill. Please do not go to this cafe. This cafe serves poor food and they are ripping off the tourist visitors and the cafe owners don't care.

What a lovely experience at this cute little place today, the gentleman that served our table (I think he was called David) made us feel very welcome and special. He couldn’t do enough for us, it felt like being part of the family. He was chatty and friendly, polite and very respectful. I will definitely be retuning to this place. The menu was reasonably priced, we got two courses for less than £10!Thank you 😊

Terrible experience, if I could have left no stars I would have. Firstly seated at a table that hadn't been cleared or wiped. Staff pleasant but very disorganised and then the food came, that's when it really went down hill. How you can charge what you do for the food you serve is mind boggling. I can only think you're simple out to rip off tourists coming into the area.

Dirty table they did clear it but should have been done before seated staff were nice but some just looked unhappy to be there not the best atmosphere then the food came frozen roast potatoes tinned peas and carrots and processed beef yack and my child sausage was not appealing tea tasted of dirty dish water maybe get a proper chef in get local produce and I'm sure you would attract more tourist to come eat there but at the standard we seen today I wont be back

Beautiful place, lovely staff.... that's the good part. Food was awful really awful. Frozen Yorkshire pudding warmed processed beef, Frozen roast potatoes tinned peas and carrots. The soup was definitely tinned or packet soup..... chips were over cooked and hard. That cost us over £38. The drinks were ok.... mediocre. Had the owners not been so nice and friendly we'd have complained, the older lady working there was very sweet. Lovely place in a lovely setting, just employ a proper chef and use fresh home cooked produce. So very disappointed

Friendly staff, super helpful. Right on top of the cobble road, biker friendly. Amazing view from the place (currently take out only due to cover). Also their carrot cake is amazing!
