Met up with some good friends for a walk on the canal and called in here after for lunch. We all had the pies, chicken and leak and beef pie, with either mash or chips and vegetables. Really good value at £12 and plenty of gravy 😋 x

Simple but good food, just wish they did steak and chips!! Great staff...

Visited The Boathouse for a family meal recently as we had three of our grandchildrens Birthdays close together. On entering the premises a customer sat near the entrance to the restaurant commented on us arriving saying "The idiots have arrived ". Just because there was quite a large group of us doesn't mean we don't know how to behave . Everyone including our grandchildren asked very politely for their order. The manager spent the whole time watching our table and made us feel very uncomfortable, it wasn't a pleasant experience. Sorry if this isn't a glowing review but this explains our feelings.

Heard mixed reviews of the food here but I thought it was good. Had a curry that was clearly homemade and very nice, wife had a great cheese and onion pie. Not cheap but it’s right on the river in Saltaire. Staff are friendly and dogs welcome. Beers pretty standard; a good craft or two on tap would make it 5*

Beautiful bar with great beers and excellent food.

Great lunch had by all here on a day out in Saltaire. I chose the fish finger butty and wasn't disappointed. Excellent meal and service

Went for an evening meal after a very hot day. Had fish and chips which was excellent. Also had a couple of pints and a sweet. Nice views of the river and park.

Went to the Boathouse for a late afternoon Lunch with the family. Ordered the Battered Fish and chips (see Photo). It was a great place with friendly service from the staff and served with a smile. Enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere. The views through the architecturally designed large minimalist windows added to the atmosphere of connecting to the outside space. The history of the boathouse can be felt through the building and the service was impeccable. I hope that a drinks menu can be introduced for the future for the restaurant area, everything else is available at the bar! Amazing Place!

Great riverside location but limited outdoor seating. On a lovely sunny, warm afternoon, it was a shame the bi-fold doors remained closed. Open those windows and you have the outdoor space people want and more stars from me! ⭐

Beautifull food, very pleasent staff, good value for money. Think they could put some dog friendly water owls out with some dog treats.
