The Five Rise Locks Cafe in Bradford

Stopped for coffee and cake and a little rest. Lovely brisk walk from Saltaire and back.

Popped in for a coffee, friendly staff good service

Best cafe around. Cakes are to die for and the coffee is fab. Especially love the Eccles cakes with a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows perfect for a treat. Lovely welcoming staff , couldn’t recommend this cafe more 👍

Beautiful scenery and excellent cafe

Lovely setting and a welcome coffee. Very clean toilets.

They make a nice cappuccino that comes in nice porcelain cups, in 2 sizes. It is very reasonably priced. The cafe is a great place to meet on a Wednesday afternoon (or any other time) under the present circumstances as there is plenty of seating in a spacious airy building. And of course it is located at the famous Five Rise locks. Why go anywhere else? Some day I will try the food and review that too. DB

Right at the top of the Bingley staircase locks. Nice little café with friendly staff. Prompt service, clean loos and clean tables. I had thick, chunky carrot and coriander soup which was good. The tasty feta and olive salad came in a deep bowl and was a good portion and the coffee and walnut cake was good too. Reasonably priced, good food. They sell drinks, sandwiches, ice creams - including ice creams for dogs. Indoor and outdoor seating. It is very pleasant to sit outside watching the canal and narrowboat shenanigans. Would revisit.

Did I said brilliant cafe. Yes it is beautiful place just at the edge of canal. Giving u an opportunity to have beautiful views while u enjoy ur tea or food. Atmosphere is as beautiful as this cafe is. U can feel peace n calm. Friendly n attentive staff, great service. Not only tea or coffee but food u can enjoy there. They have delicious cake variety which was mouthwatering for me so I ordered couple of 😆. Situated at Five Rise famous Lock mean bit busy too at brunch time. We had wonderful time there. Thanks to the staff specially the young girl on counter 👍

A beautiful country walk and fascinating afternoon watching the locks. The food was plentiful, and good at the café, and the staff were friendly, and efficient.
