Good grub and beer. Was quiet when we went in.

Burger wasn't cooked and the sausage was raw from the sausage and mash

Food very good and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended.

When for Sunday lunch. Had to wait an hour and there were two people besides my family in pub! The meal wasn't even warm when we did eventually receive it. We came when restrictions were on for a drink and sat outside which was nice but not for a meal.

Lovely place good bar man tried to book a party barman took details but management were very slow to respond like 4 days only to be told they had something else booked..why wasn't the bar manager privy to the same information??? Poor management ..shame..

Called in for a quick pint whilst passing. Haven't been in for years and was pleasantly surprised. The layout was was different to what I remember and looked recently revamped. Toilets were a bit drab but looked clean. Will definitely call again.

A person in our group ordered the flat iron steak meal, when it arrived it didn't come with the mushrooms, fried tomato and onion rings. Probably should have complained... But still quite an oversight for 12.95!!The pie was nice, mash a bit lumpy for my liking, but Gravy was ok.Probably won't go back to be honest.

Great roast dinner, with big servings and great puddings too. The beer and drinks served are very good. This is a pub restaurant I would highly recommend and definitely revisit, you won't find anywhere better in the area. Reasonable prices, great food and friendly service.

Lovely food served by very pleasant staff.

Excellent value for money. Great meat and potato pie and the most amazing home made chips. Friendly staff. Can't ask for more.
