The Hawthorn in Bradford

Delightful dining🙂 The Romesco pizza with chorizo and grilled peppers was delicious and I liked the thin crust. The staff was very lovely and friendly. The white long candle and the candlestick created a vintage atmosphere, adding charm to the evening.

Great lunch place after a visit to the Bronte museum. Seafood platter was generous and delicious and the fish broth was tasty, well seasoned and fresh.

Just had a wonderful meal with very friendly and helpful staff. My compliments to the kitchen team who did a fantastic job and catered for two coeliacs in our party. I am happy to recommend The Hawthorn as a place to visit.

Amazingly good gastro pub! Excellent, welcoming & friendly staff....food was top notch, not even a little complaint about anything....really good bottle of wine, which I will search for to get for home, cosy and quaint surroundings in the upstairs dining room, with table looking out to the atmospheric cobbled high street below....Can't rate it high enough, lovely evening and buzzy happy environment!

Awesome awesome awesome. Food, cocktails and service....can't fault the place. We've been twice and had amazing meals all-round, from soups, seafood and steak, to vegi dishes and amazing puddings.

Absolutely glorious, high-quality food. We loved the Hawthorn so much we ate here two nights running! The filet steak was delicious and the peppercorn sauce is the best I've tasted. The triple cooked chips were to die for. Our party also enjoyed the burger and the risotto! They have a great drinks selection and the staff are very helpful and squeezed us in even on busy weekend evenings.

The food was Incredible, hats off to the kitchen, one of the best cooked sea bass I've had in a long time, everything seasoned perfectly.The building is stunning and lovely staff too.I would have loved to give this a 5 star rating but the service was slow almost 20 minutes before our drinks arrived, over an hour before our mains came out. Only had one drink each and had to cancel the second as it still hadn't arrived by the time we'd eaten and was ready to pay.Such a shame as the food was amazing.

100% recommend! The staff were brilliant from entering to leaving. Came out absolutely stuffed from the delicious food and portions size were impressive, definitely go on an empty stomach! No phone signal or WiFi but we need to put the phone down and spend actual time with friends and family. Worth every penny! Thanks guys!
