Reasonably priced very nicely refurbished

Yeah it’s a great pub tbf the owners are a great couple and all of their bar staff are fantastic I’d highly recommend a visit

Beer prices are OK. Friendly staff

Landlady is lovely great place there's a Scottish man with a big red face I think he was called Ian from the cap and bells

One of the most homely pubs I go in the bar staff are brilliant and you are not waiting too long when it's busy

A bit quiet in here nothing going on so moved on to another pub.

Sat on a table outside in the carpark next to the main road, so ambience wasn't the best. The area around the back seemed much nicer but was full. Staff friendly, but as soon as we finished our drinks we would get asked if we wanted another over and over, each time by a different staff member. Made us feel rushed to leave when I actually might have stayed for a other had I been allowed to have my conversation without being repeatedly interrupted. Some rowdy clientele jumping on tables which the landlady made short work of telling them to calm down.Some indication of what drinks were on offer may have been nice. I ended up playing safe with Carling but would have liked something better.

Played darts there very very small tap room with pool table in the middle but large best room. fighting broke out whilst I was there! ✊

Sadly I don't rate it as I found that the landlord was very insulting as the same as some of the pool team I would not recommend this place at all to anyone
