Great selection of gluten free food, looked after well and good selection behind the bar.A proper pub, one of those places that feels like home, thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely lovely pub but ended up being very let down. We came to have some food, being there first customers there, as soon as we got there we asked if they was serving food they said yes and gave us some menus, (the pub was quite) when it came to wanting to order our food we went up to the bar and they then decided to tell us after us being at the pub for 40 mins already, that we can’t order food yet, and that we won’t be able to get any food until half 3, baring in mind we had been at the pub since they opened that day! Why was this not mentioned when we first got to the pub when they knew we wanted to order food ? When we asked if they was serving ?they was also no toilet roll in the ladies.Lovely place but completely wasted my time when all we wanted was some quick nibbles

My friends and I visited the Old Glen House the first night I arrived in Leeds (I live in the US). The steak and ale pie was amazing, as was the apple/rhubarb dessert!!! (Truly the best beef pie I've ever had). We then travelled all the way to the Scottish Highlands for a week, eating at pubs and restaurants along the way. Out of our entire trip, The Old Glen House was the best food and had our favorite employees. They made us feel welcome in their home. I highly recommend the pies as well as the chicken burgers (My friend said it was the best he's ever eaten). Go to the Old Glen House! And while you're there, stroll down to the Old Glen in the woods just behind it. It's beautiful.

We were there for a friends birthday party and had a wonderful evening. The pub is warm and welcoming with a roaring fire in the log burner. The staff were extremely friendly and also welcoming. The buffet was plentiful and the food was good quality and quite varied. Thanks again to all at the Old Glen House for making us welcome.

Lovely inside with rustic charm. Bar and waiting staff attentive. Spaced out seating areas, plus outside. Simplified but tasty menu suspect due to Covid. Went mid week will definitely return for Sunday Roast. Great location.

Me and my wife went for a walk and ended up on Shipley glen so thought we would have a break and recharge our batteries , before our short walk home, very cosy atmosphere in the pub they were very welcoming nice seating . Lovely staff all in all a very nice experience.

Sunday lunch is a family oriented and dog friendly experience, although it's time they reopened their car park to customers instead of just the staff. This causes on street parking issues at busy times which I'm sure the local residents are not happy about.A well kept pint of hand pulled Saltaire beer and half an Amstel lager was £6.05, a Yorkshire pudding starter with gravy £4.50 and a Sunday lunch main roast of the day £12.95.

Love a dog friendly pub and one that has a Pie Chart 🥧 - Genius!! Pie’s are award winning with beautifully cooked veg that you choose from!!!

Lovely pub, good food. Only reason it's got 4 stars and not 5 is it's dog friendly which I know some people will like, I just prefer places that aren't, but it wouldn't put me off a future visit.

Stopped for lunch on our walk from Ilkley to Saltaire. Dog friendly pub with excellent home cooked food - the pie was incredible.
