Went there again today for Sunday lunch. Reserved a table and we were greeted wonderfully by the staff, very friendly! They set us a table outside on their lovely terrace and looked after us attentively. The place was quiet and we couldn’t work out why - it’s a gem of a pub! The Sunday roast was brilliantly cooked and presented. Just the right amount - enough to have a little space to enjoy one of their delightful deserts. Our girls loved the Swiss roll and we enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. Hats off to the chef. A lovely and relaxing Sunday afternoon at a very reasonable price! Thank you ;)

A bit disappointing.Nice place. When arriving we were informed that several items were off the menu. When ordering it emerged that several other items were off the menu. I had steak which was very nice. My partner had scampi which was poor. Eight small pieces of scampi, a small portion of chips and a small portion of cabbage which was apparently the only green veg left. She was still hungry after the meal, but the only dessert she fancied was also unavailable. I'm aware that it was Sunday night after a local weekend event, but even so.

We've just had 3 nights in the lovely Inn and what a lovely time we had . Situated in an idilic location with lovely views. The Staff were fantastic ,very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Our room was clean and comfortable and replenished daily. The food was great and very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit, we've already booked for next year.

Very nice little pub. Food is great and the staff are very friendly. Only drawback is that it is very quiet and it feels like you have to keep your voice down. A little bit of ambient music would go a long way.

I have been here twice now. Lovely, quaint and old-word feeling. Really friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. It has a good vegan menu and not the supermarket bought burgers, this was homemade food. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to both vegans and meat eaters alike.

The staff were all very friendly and the landlord very helpful. When we asked the landlord if he did packed meals he said no but asked us what we would want and it was provided to the letter at a very reasonable price. Good food in the restaurant. Room good though bathroom incredibly small.

We stayed for one night and it was superb. Great beer, lovely clean and cosy room. Excellent food and the service spot on. Donna and Mark were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting until close. We will most certainly be back.

Called in today with lunch in mind. Ordered coffee and the young man serving said he would bring them to us outside with some menus. After a twenty five minute wait a waitress admitted she had forgotten when delivering a coffee that was half full. Not a menu in sight...obviously don't need the business! Sad really...it used to be lovely...

Absolutely shocked at what we was served. My partner had bangers and mash with red wine gravy. (Bisto) seasonal veg ( frozen uncooked garden peas ) I had a Cumberland with chips. Nothing special.

Fantastic place, good sized car park the staff were very helpful. chatty and informative. The rooms were pleasant, clean and well equipped, good sized TV, coffee making facilities the en suite was excellent and made good use of the space. A great selection of beers and wines are served at the bar and the bar staff were very knowledgeable. Even the locals were friendly and we spent a great night chatting to them, in all a great night (from what I can remember!) the full English in the morning helped with the hangover and then a trip to Haworth which was 5 mins away. All in all I would recommend staying here.
