In all honesty, worst food I have ever had in my life.Menu states ‘proper good food’ however, unfortunately it is very far from the advertisement. The Pie came and the pastry couldn’t be broken by hand or cutlery with all the inside fried like black mush onto the plate. The mixed grill, yellowish rubbery chicken and a very poor steak burnt outside, pink inside.Poor customer service.Would not recommend.I wish I could leave a picture to show how bad the food looked! Very disappointed & I would have been ashamed to serve those plates.

Popped in late for a bite to eat, was pleasantly surprised. Food was plentiful and cooked to perfection. Good sized portions at a very reasonable price. Will visit again. Staff are friendly also.

I visited the Roebuck last Friday and had an amazing time! I love fruity gins so when I saw they had the Gordons Mediterranean Orange gin, I jumped at the chance to try it! It was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Definitely will be visiting again.

Good food, nice atmosphere. menu was limited but I let that slide due to the festive period.Got 10oz Rump steak, medium. Was medium on the outside, once in the middle it was very rare, good job I'm not a steak hater.Apart from that, very nice.

The service we recieved from walking into this establishment was totally disgraceful. I suggest the owner of this restaurant pays for his female barmaid to attend a customer service seminar to learn how to deal with the general public! The rolling of the eyes and the tutting when she had already put ice cubes in a glass and we told her we didn't want ice was deplorable! Then to be told by another bar person that there were people waiting to be served and her answer to this was well they will have to wait won't they! Get another job flower I you don't like being in customer services . 2 stars are for the barma who was polite and genuine. As visitors to the area, I'm afraid we will not be returning to this public house

All food out of the microwave. Cheap , but obviously for a reason.Drinks expensive.Asked for gluten free options and handed a big folder , saying they're not allowed to tell you which meal is GF because of , "health and safety".Cobblers! I'm a professional in health and safety and there's no reason why you cannot advise a customer other than you can't be bothered.

I had the burger which was absolutely (very cheap product) disgusting. I recently had a burger at the Wrose Bull for a similar price and there was a chasm between the quality of the produce. Please give them a call and change your supplier.

So we moved near here but due to lockdown spent months imagining what it's like. Now we've been a few times, great pub, lovely decor inside and great atmosphere.Reasonably priced for most drinks, and the burgers are great. They're not the fat juicy burgers I normally see, it was more reminiscent of a bbq burger and it was a nice change. Loved the smokiness of the patty.

Where do I start. The friendliness of staff soon as we walked in were upbeat and helpful straight away. I had already had a sneak preview of the menu before choosing and arriving to eat here. The service is spot on!The food was amazing! I love the fact that there is plenty of veggie (even vegan) options - they don't just have your boring salad or standard vegetable pattie. They also have a vegan options for a child's menu and I've not seen that anywhere else for such a low price too! The pricing was acceptable and affordable for the adults. I also was amazed by the fact staff were informative about a veggie option and how some things were changed and to why when choosing a vegan option (changing the chips to nachos for example) cheery atmosphere. The set up of the pub and the decor was lovely. Clean pub and quick service. A lovely treat out and will most definitely be returning to try other things from the menu and will most definitely recommend to others 😃
