Toast House in Bradford

Great little independent coffee shop. Menu options focused around Toast and all crafted with flavour in mind. If you have room left you can also pick up a little afters with many cakes and bakes to choose from. Their own take on beans on toast is definitely worth a try and that brew a mean cup of coffee!

Great coffee and buttered crumpets and cakes and sandwiches and freshly prepared salads and lovely soups during cooler months. All in all just lovely vibes and very welcoming staff with lovely homewares for sales as well now. Self bake Christmas cakes an annual must!

Had their scones but not impressed .They offer nothing others dont and were this anywhere else but Ilkley it wouldn't get a mention .Pricey but then again its because its Ilkley , pleasant staff but its the food that matters and its average .

Lovely little independent coffee shop with North Star coffee. Great cakes and a surprisingly large menu. Give Greggs, Costa and Cafe Nero a miss and support local!

Nice and cosy, excellent gluten free brownie with a good mug of tea

The cafe has a lovely feel to it and the staff are nice and welcoming. I got a double espresso and my wife had a cafe latte, the beans used in this cafe are "North Star" and it can be a little bit acidic but it was an excellent coffee.The toilet was very clean and it made me feel comfortable as this is a good indicator of the general cleanliness of the place.We also got the sourdough loaf which we would definitely recommend.

I've been following toast on social media for a while and it looked delicious! Finally managed to get there today and it didn't disappoint - a taste sensation 😋 yummy, thank you. It was also plastic free but hopefully take our own containers next time.

Very over-priced and customer service is hit and miss. I'd been in a few times previously , the first time I had a delicious salad box. Although this was pricey, it was a treat and was delicious. Since then however, it hasn't been as good and the staff can be quite stand-offish. The latest visit has put me off for good. I wanted a take-away lunch - they have two menus - one is a sandwich menu, the other is less clear. When I have ordered from the second menu previously I have received an open sandwich with a side salad - these are £6.50; pricey but tasty.Today I ordered from this same menu and I even said to the person saving me that I didn't want a sandwich. What did I get....a very small sandwich - FOR £6.50!!! When I explained that this wasn't what I was expecting (based on previous orders), the person serving me couldn't have been less bothered. They could see I wasn't happy but didn't offer to do anything to rectify the situation.By this point I had waited an age - did I say the service was slow - and I needed to get back to work.I won't be going back again and I'd say spend your money elsewhere.

Great coffee , cakes and the girls behind the counter are great. My favourite place around Ilkley and probably my favourite around W Yorkshire..We should have more independent places like this one.. and I hope that people support them. independent establishments are becoming a rarity.

Beautiful café, the decor is gorgeous and the food is delicious. The cakes are homemade, I really recommend treating yourself! I also tried the almond tea for the first time the other day and I'll definitely be having that one again.
