We went to this pub about three weeks ago for a carvery at approximately 3 pm on a Thursday afternoon. The food was fantastic we were so impressed as we’ve not been here for nearly 10 years The food was extremely fresh nice and hot and was a very wide selection of vegetables as well as meats. For its price it is extremely good indeed I would highly recommend this to anybody wanting to go for a good wholesome affordable meal. Also the staff are extremely friendly and polite. What I would say is to make sure that you haven’t had much to eat because when you go there you will definitely want to try everything and there is plenty. Also this pub is extremely accessible for anybody who is in a wheelchair you would not have any problems getting in or out of this pub and I am sure that the staff will find you a table close to all the amenities that you should need throughout your visit.

'I ordered the roast last week and was veryhappy with the food and it was delicious andfresh … so I ordered another today to be sodisappointed!! The Yorkshires where sotiny …the meats were scraps and sparse .. thefood was just slopped into containers with alayer of cold mashed potatoes on the top andto top it off there were three roast potatoeswhich for a roast for two wasn't very wellreceived..one half tub of gravy included andpigs in cremated bacon as an add on .. lastweeks was sooo much better so I'm afraid thatwas the last time I order from Toby CarveryRooley Lane in Bradford …seems like takeawaycustomers get a raw deal…Well this Sunday wedid anyway"

The kitchen staff were brilliant , they were short staffed in the kitchen and yet they worked really hard to manage . However, the lady who appeared to be in charge was off hand and Nirvana ( one of the waitresses) was rude and obnoxious. Joshua , one of the waiters , was ABSOLUTELY brilliant , polite , kind and very helpful. He was the only one the would make us come back again. Food was average to say the least.

We were greeted by Mia on entry, she was so lovely and helpful from the beginning to the end. Made us feel welcomed and warm. We need more bar/restaurant workers like this. GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE

I booked for a party of six as a treat. Only 4 ate. There was 4 meats but only 2 available at the time. I was not prepared to compromise on my choice so did not eat. I was told there was no lamb or pork left. The queues were horrendous. It was a Sunday if that should make adifference.Definitely would not go back orrecommend. I had to give a star to post

Absolutely shocking. Turned up after pre booking to find no food available at all. Staff were taking food that was left from the carvery we noticed. The staff saw us in to a table and asked us about drinks. Nothing was said to us about food so We asked and they said there was what was left on the carvery and the cooker was broken? Why was we not told this from the min we walked in? Nevermind on the booking! I cook for a living this is not acceptable service. Charged for refill drinks too. We thought we would give this one a chance for our anniversary and unfortunately will never recommend. Massive let down to the Toby carvery name

Ordered food on Friday, drinks came after 25 mins, food was late and also cold. Service was pretty shambolic and disorganized then the pudding for one child was forgotten about till spoke to staff so was another 45 minutes for a chocolate fudge cake. Standards have dropped massively here and very disappointing.

Visited on the 12th in the mid-afternoon and was impressed on the whole. We had a 50% off code and so it only came to £13 for two of us.A huge selection of meats and vegetables, which were all very tasty (although some appear to have been left out for quite a while).Free refills on soft drinks, a decent set up and very friendly service throughout. You can't go wrong with those prices and would definitely recommend to others.

Very rude server, insisting we accept the end of the beef joint, however it was pure fat and gristle and the outside burnt black, no meat evident anywhere. When we asked for some off a different joint we were told, in no uncertain terms that we couldn't, he can't open another joint just because it's not to our liking and someone else will eat it.A tiny heel of gristle I wouldn't give to my dog.We spoke to the management and left.We have been regular customers but never again, awful experience being spoken to in that manner by a server not much more than a kid.

This was a lovely place to eat and all the staff were warm and friendly. I had a Carvery. The food looked and tasted lovely with a lot of choice. So why 3 stars?. The food just wasn't hot enough. I am a slow eater and used to warm food when coming to the end of my meal. Unfortunately the meal was warm to start with so almost felt cold by the time I got to the end of my meal. Maybe if the plates were hotter (obviously hot enough to hold) the food might not of cooled so quickly.
