Wilsden Balti and Tandoori Takeaway in Bradford

Amazing food and never fail to make you feel welcome when collecting. Although they don't deliver, it is worth the short drive as you get the freshest dishes as quickly as possible.

I ordered a take away last Saturday, initially we were told the order wouldn't be ready for around and hour and 10 minutes which was not an issue as I appreciate Saturdays are very busy for takeaway establishments. Prior to this I had picked up food from another takeaway before and timed it right so I would arrive to collect the food from here at the given time.I understand that this is an estimate and that the food would unlikely be waiting for me upon my arrival. I was directed to wait outside by the gentleman on the front desk, understandable in the current climate. I joined said line which was already a lengthy line full of unimpressed faces waiting for their meals. One by one the line went down, but as of yet my name was not called. All in all it took an extra 40 minutes from arrival for my food.I arrived home and firstly had to re heat the previously mentioned additional takeaway due to waiting for this one. I opened the food up and what awaited me was an oily amalgamation of cheese and chicken not one I had encountered before from this normally fine takeaway establishment. I had also ordered a naan bread with cheese. This was not the case, the naan bread was hard and had no cheese on it.I have eaten from here numerous times but this will be the last time I do so. Very disappointed with the overall service and quality of the food.

Best curry house in area. Freshly cooked, always good quality. Don't take card payments or deliver but that's part of their success in so much as they still deliver on quality.

Thoroughly enjoyed our curries from Wilsden balti. This is my fifth time ordering from here and I’ve not had one bad curry at all. Really friendly people.

Best Indian takeaway outside of Bradford. Reasonable prices, only 30 minute wait, fresh ingredients, full of flavour. Gave me exactly what I ordered.
