Armytage Arms in Calderdale

We eat in many places and today found this little Gem.Food was fairly prices and absolutely gorgeous.The Staff were very helpful and courteous. The drinks were also very fairly priced too.We will be returning in the very near future.

Very friendly welcome. Excellent menu choice. Mixed grill was perfectly cooked. Chicken fajitas equally good. Great service - tasty food. Lovely environment

My family and I visited The Armytage Arms, Brighouse on Saturday, (02/04/22). As a family of 4, we decided to go for dinner out and it was very busy, but we only waited a couple of minutes to be seated. When we ordered our food, we were told there was a 30 to 40 minutes wait for our order, which we were absolutely fine with. We'd ordered at 6:30, but by 7:10, we still had no food. Eventually, an assistant came to our table at 7:20 and explained that our order had not been started, as our order ticket had been missed and pushed aside. We appreciated that it was very busy and the assistant was very apologetic. As a good will gesture, we were offered a free round of drinks and a pudding each. This was extremely generous of them and it made our meal out very pleasurable. It hasn't put us off returning for another meal in the future. The food and service was great and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great find. Even though I live nearby. Very nice restaurant and pleasantly surprised at the size of meals for the money. Seen as everywhere is getting expensive now. Been 3times now and will definitely be back

Dropped in here on a trip through. Greeted warmly, told when ordering food there might be a 30 minute wait, which I confirmed was fine, food Arrived quicker and I had a steak that was served on a sizzling plate and was cooked perfectly. Thanks very much .

We all came for a family members 80th birthday. Great food, great service, good value for money. Highly recommended

Had a table for a 11 booked for 6:15. Food ordered straight away and still waiting till half 7 before it came out. I had hunters chicken which tasted like nothing but charcoal. Majority of the table disliked the food. Will definitely not be back. Waitress' were sour faced and miserable also

Visited here with family. Received a very warm and attentive welcome and the staff couldn’t do enough to help accommodate my disabled grandmother. I ordered chicken fajitas which were absolutely stunning and the rest of the family all enjoyed their meals too. Lovely atmosphere at this home from home pub. Could not recommend enough. Thank you!

Spacious pub. We visited on a Wednesday evening so it wasn't too busy but enough people to provide some atmosphere. The puddings were a hit!
