Bertie’s in Calderdale

We were very pleased with our experience with Bertie’s. The staff were very accommodating and helpful through out the process. We had to change the date twice due to our circumstances, this wasn’t a problem for Bertie’s.Our guests were really impressed on the day with how nice everything looked and how hard the staff worked to make the day special for everyone.

Absolutely wonderful celebration of life at Berties. All the food was delicious and staff lovely. It was very relaxed and we had the room for as long as we wanted. Would highly recommend

Just been to an event here , was charged £8,95 for a large glass of Tempranillo red wine ! When I questioned the price the young bar girl said ‘ it’s expensive Rioja !’ …. What a croc ! It was basic bar wine ! Even in a hotel I wouldn’t expect this price for a glass of chump ! Never again !

Berties is a class venue serving excellent food. The Sunday lunch yesterday was superb. Try Berties for any future event no matter what the occasion. They are always willing to discuss your requirements and adapt to any needs.

A lovely venue for a Celebration of Life. Very helpful staff . We had use of the cocktail lounge which was ideal for numbers of around 50 people, some with limited mobility .

Always a fantastic evening at Berties, food is exceptional considering there is such a large number of us , choice and quality of food is also very good indeed. Throughout the organization of our event Katie and all the team were extremely helpful and proactive and on the night the staff couldn't have been more helpful . Cannot recommend this venue enough.

I attended one of the Christmas party nights Saturday 18th at Berties. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was great and the staff were very attentive. Good value for money and all round fantastic service. I would definately reccomend Berties to family & friends.

Good venue, nice staff.Slightly disappointed as a waitress took our bottle of Prosecco away when clearing up, but we had only taken one glass from it. When we mentioned it to them, they said that they couldn't find where they had put it which meant we had to pay £25 for another bottle.

We held our wedding evening reception in the cocktail lounge in October 2021. We had 80 people and the size of room was absolutely perfect for our party. The food was amazing and the selection of drinks and the prices were excellent. The staff on the night couldn’t do enough for you. Our event had been cancelled twice due to COVID and the events team had been so good when trying to re-arrange our dates. Everyone who came commented on how fantastic the venue was. I would definitely book here again and would highly recommend Berties!

I had my wedding at Berties and they were amazing! From the big things to the small details they took everything in hand and made sure our day was so special. Everyone commented on the amazing food and venue. I would recommend Berties to anyone. Extremely professional, friendly and the best at what they do!
