Bone Heads in Calderdale

Honestly, it was the best fried chicken i have ever eaten! It wasn’t like any other fried chicken I have tried, it was very tender and juicy. Burgers are huge, and the design of the place is pretty cool as well. I also recommend the waffle fries with a blue cheese dip. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Birmingham.

Damn fine Chicken Burger and good selection of non mainstream beer. Waffle fries are tasty and generous portions. Bonus only few minutes walk from New St station. Small venue, staff seemed friendly, Interior decor is black and heavy metal themed.

Disappointing. I was looking forward to coming here for ages. Finally went for my birthday and was underwhelmed. The chicken in my burger was grey, fatty and rubbery, the waffle fries were no better than frozen ones you can buy. The strips were ok, nothing too special. Shame as it's put me off ever going again!

Amazing as always been here a number of times in lockdown through ordering on Ubereats and collecting. Now finally able to go in and eat and was even better fresh. Ordered a bit of everything.Still stand as the best chicken in Brum from me

When great chicken meets Rocknroll! Cool atmosphere, nice tunes and delicious food. A must go in Birmingham!

First time here and it definitely lived up to expectations! The place was packed but we had a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. Really good service. Good selection of beer and the food was 10/10. Will definitely be back

I haven’t tasted any burgers as good as the one I had from Bonehead. I just remembered starting eating it and feeling that it was quick, and I wanted more. The chicken was juicy andI can taste the hotness in the buffalo sauce. The blue cheese gave its tanginess. The buffalo fries were excellent, but I thought the Nashville fries tasted better. The waffle fries with the platter were okay, but still, I would prefer the Nashville fries.We went for the tender strips and wings platter. We chose the hothead sauce for the strips and the dragon for the wings.I can’t describe the hothead sauce. It was amazing and hot; nothing beats this sauce. Hence next time, I will try the hothead burger. The wings with dragon sauce were good, but I still prefer the strips. The two dips complemented the dish, where we ordered the comeback and ranch. The comeback dip was better than the ranch, and only get the ranch sauce if you feel the food is hotter.I haven't tried the lizard king burger, but my brother enjoyed it and said it was the best chicken burger he ever had.We also ordered the ciders, and they were fruity and sweet taste.Finally, it should be noted that the queue is massive, there were no pre bookings before, so you have to turn up and wait. The place was pretty much packed, as I heard they said waiting was 2 hrs for a couple. Luckily there were 3 of us, and we only had to wait for 20 mins. But the wait was worth it, and I will queue again to eat this food.

Perfect as always. I have ordered from here twice & it never failed me! their dragon burger is my favourite, packed with flavours. I love their waffle fries as well, very crispy! though the price is kinda expensive, i understand they use good quality products :)
